I tried to MTL the novel so the translation might not be accurate. I’ll start with the part where the translator is currently at. Spoiler: So far So, ML makes a proposal to MC that they be fuck buddies. MC is annoyed bc he didn’t even want to date her, but ML makes a point, asking her if she really wanted to date him. MC relents after ML tries to convince her that he knows that she also wants to have sex with him a couple more times. The next chapter, they have sex. A few chapters later, MC’s ex boyfriend goes to the office and tries to make a scene, there’s physical violence involved but the MTL wasn’t too accurate on who kicked who. MC sees ML staring at the scene, not even going far to help her out. She drags her ex to a nearby cafe and tries to talk it out. Ex wants to get back with her, but MC doesn’t want to. Ex insinuates that there was another man involved to which MC denies and tells him there’s no one. However, ML arrived and tells him that he’s the “third party”, to which MC denies. ML tries to screw things up, saying things on purpose to make the ex misunderstand (ex: how long have you met? ML: we’ve known each other for 2 years [which is the time MC entered the company but ex doesn’t know that]. Ex thinks that he was the third part and not ML) Eventually, MC tries to clarify with ex that they’re not getting back together. The moment he ended things with her was the moment they ended. MC stands up and goes away, leaving ML and ex. ML gives ex his calling card, making ex realize that ML was MC’s boss. ML warns him to not show up unless he wants to get arrested by the police (?) Later on, MC ends up drunk (? Again, MTL not so reliable) and she ends up sleeping in ML’s apartment. The morning after, they have sex. Like rabid sex. Before any penetration took place, MC asks why he’s so eager when they had sex the night before. ML tells her that he wasn’t going to have sex with someone unconscious and that she was naked bc she stripped herself before getting to bed. They continue to have sex.
