    Hi.
I'm sure I am not the only one who have seen lots and lots of posts about depression, being sad or lonely everywhere. We see it everyday. We ourselves (maybe not all) have experienced these situations too. I am not trying to say "Hey, you should stay positive always. Look at the brighter side all the time." No one wants to hear these words when they are really down (at least that's the case for me)

But still, I want to ask this question:

If you are going through, or have gone through the lowest point of your life, what is/was the one good thing that you still have right now?
The answer can be more than one, of any sort.

I guess I can say that having my family around and having a sane mind (normally functioning consciousness) are some of the good things I have right now.

I'd say my life. I think one thing most people don't realize is that life itself is precious. Not everyone is meant to live long. Not everyone has the luxury of time. Some of us don't have much time left but that makes it more precious.

I sincerely hope that all people can think about this when they are going through tough times.

Haha it can be really hard tho. If you ever had stubbed toes, you'd know how hard it is to think about anything else other than pain. That's the same with emotional pain. We get so caught up with the sensation that nothing else feel like they matter.

There was one time when I was in the hospital. I had to take iron sucrose. It goes through the same way as blood packs do, through a needle inserted on the arm. It was really painful. Like having alcohol put on your bloodstream directly. It took hours before it was over and I couldn't think of anything at all other than that smarting pain on my left arm. Pain is like your body saying, "SOMETHING IS WRONG!!!! AAAAAHHHH" :blobrofl::blobrofl:

Maybe it is my yolo attitude?

I don't care much about anything too long...I quickly find something else to occupy myself and be happy...also it helps that there are a few buffoons who I can talk to freely... though we pull our legs everytime...we cheer eachother whenever we are down...when I remember my time of being absolutely alone I think this is more than enough for now :blobcozy:

I guess all of our senses shut off because of the pain. Same as hunger and sleep deprivation.

Good for you! I also don't delve to much on my negative emotions. I easily get over it, but sometimes it also quickly comes back. (n)

    Honestly, I don't know...
Most of my time was just staying depressed and rethinking over what I could've done at that point in time.
It gradually faded over time but mainly music is what helps me sometimes

Sometimes, I am also surprised how music affects my mood.

Would be much appreciated if you let us know if you find it.

I think hope is never a silly thing.

*When you find it, i mean

To tell you the truth. It was the sea. It frees me. It comforts me. It thrills me. It reminds me. At time I’m homesick or down. The salty sea air brings me back to life. It gives me a second wind.
I would like to say my family or some object I hold dear, but no the sea is my calling. It keeps me centered in an otherwise depressing moment

If I were the sea, I would be glad to have helped one individual to cope up with life.

Hmm... (When it comes to hobby/somerhing) it's probably art, although I kinda rarely do it nowadays as I am vv busy, it kept me distracted to a lot of things in the past, I would just draw and draw, completely immersing myself in it until I forgot about the negative thoughts in my head.

The second thing was when someone said this words when I was going through one of the lowest point in my life "you know it yourself that those words is not the truth, so don't give up, go and prove the right truth"

In that time.....I was not myself, I completely lost it all, my competitive spirit, my will to live, those words really ignited the small fire that was ceasing to exist within my heart, anyways I was just about to give up after I risked everything, I was so detached from reality that time, it all seems like a dream and my memories were hazy, then I got slap (ye, slap, I was slapped in the face :blobpensive:) I got slap then woke up XD, of course I couldn't just change overnight by that words, (definitely did things after that i regretted)
but it definitely carved a spot in my heart that will forever change my life in the long process.

We have the things that pull us up from the darkness, and it's up to us to stay out of this darkness or not. But i guess the "force" that pulled you up once did not ever leave you.
