    Okay, but that is still using OCR, that's how the jpg to pdf converter works. There's tons of online converters that can do that.

    Thanks for saying that. I changed the title because it's misleading.

    Edit: So I'm fully awake now and understand (i guess) what you're saying. Actually, the main topic is not how to make PDF but to read the text in images using translator app. I added how to make PDF because I think having the app makes it easier, mostly if you only have your phone.

    Minor correction. That's how Tap To Translate Screen works. The jpg to pdf converter is just being used to combine the jpg images into a single pdf for.. convenience? Personal preference?... and then an ocr translation app is being used on the pdf.
