If you had to choose one of mythologies to become real, which one would it be? Think about all the ups and downs of it. Definitely not Greek lol
I would pick giants, if we assume that a more clean air abundant with oxygen existed at some era, having very tall humans wouldn't be impossible, so yeah, giants should've existed at some point in history, not to mention that through history there were actual cases (more or less) of giants like "Sultan Kosen" and "André the Giant" albeit in their cases their conditions were results of gigantism and acromegaly but still that proves that genetically speaking, giants (or really big humans that surpass the norm when it comes to height) can exist, other than that, maybe, dwarves, goblins and trolls, perhaps, dragons too XD
Yeah, i was already thinking of a female andre...a? the giant and shuddered. But then thought of a certain doujinshi and i was okay again!~ Anyway, i'd go for a myth like mermaids, the eat their flesh for immortality kind, not Ariel.... although i can certainly work with that.
Well, rules are rules I guess, whatever mythology or mythologies those creatures belong to then XD Speaking of which, I forgot about the ups and downs, hm... Ups I guess, we got a more fantasy like world Downs would probably be, more political stuff going on? it will be chaos and a hell on earth that none of us will be able to stop
Giant sea monster is probably the most likely real myth. I mean, we already got gigantic squid, giant isopod, etc. It wouldn't be a steretch that there is other monstrosity down there deep in the ocean. Even a talking sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea. This is why the ocean is a scary place.
That's Flying Spaghetti Monster-sama for you! There were too many contestants, we had to eliminate someone! Uh...probably every mythology has giants. Greek, Nord, Egyptian, Irish, Slav, Native American, Indian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese....you have to pick one and live with its capricious gods and things that go bump in the night.
Hm... There are a lot of mythologies out there, and I barely know anything about them. If this was a real decsion, I'd probably would do a lot of research first. But it's not lol. So... basque. Why not, they're the coolest europeans. Either that or hopi mythology
Why? I just know they're a minority in Spain? And that's more than majority of Europeans know about them. Wiki on Basque mythology is basically empty so you are either super into history or you're just trying to be fancy.
I've been reading this book about their history and I also just really like their language, its one of the few suvivors of the proto europeans left. They're neat, and the first thiing that came to my mind, so why not. Also don't forget! Theres some in france too!
Chinese Xianxia myths would be interesting but I think that so would be the case with any mythology. I once read a horror novel on Egyptian myths though and that was truly gory as well as disgusting so I am not sure if I'd want those to come alive. But aside from those..
Interesting sure but how would you live when at any moment some god or supernatural being might make you go trough hell for shits and giggles?
Elves! Dark elves! Fairies! Dragons! Mermaids! Alien too so they could boom this not so good planet to dust...
