I'm pretty sure they don't mean the same thing. State of Limerence is when you met someone you liked, then you have these fantasies about a witty conversation, travelling somewhere etc. Yet you don't act on it, because you remember you're socially awkward.

Yeah, nobody is envious of these delusions. It's a nice escape though.

Honestly tho, I know you still have even a little bit of that jealousy when seeing a loving coupld being lovey dovey. Like I'm the same when it comes to rl couples since i've only simp on 2D men so far....so it's like this, no matter what state you're in, you will still feel the jealousy lol unless you're married to a perfect description of your future partner or else you gonna keep envying people who are better than you still.
