I forgot about some of the characters since it's been a while since I read this. Is Arendt Eli's fiancé before her fam got their titles stripped? Who is he again? What was his ending in the novel?

 

He is.. well Medea's son. In last week's chapter he learned he is not Pistore and Artel's son and decided to go to another country.

 

I really wanted to know what's up with the royal family? I think the translations I was reading were wrong since they kept calling Medea "empress dowager" implying she was married to the current emperor's father but that somehow she is also married/had a child with the current emperor? And btw who is the first princes father? He told the emperor he wasn't he's father so that left me really confused

 

Medea is the current emperor’s stepmother. Her child is the child of the emperor’s father, so basically, the first prince is actually the half brother of the emperor, not his son.

 

So basically Meadea had to offer her throne up since she was the sole heir and couldn't inherit it do to being a woman.
And during the timeline when the current emperor and he's wife were having their first baby Medea must have been pregnant with the prior emperor's baby somehow and gave birth to the first prince and switched out the dying princess with the first prince so the current emperor and he's wife would think that the boy was their son right? Is that why he was also so shocked when he found that out at the end? Because I think I remember him calling Medea "mother" before or something like that

 

He calls her mother but it's not because he loves her. He's just being polite. They don't really like her even when the previous emperor was alive. Even the empress Artel was always avoiding her.

 

It was announced today that chapter 130 (next week) is the last of season 2. The manhwa will be back with season 3 after a break (they didn't mention how long it is) and season 3 is side stories!

Though there are many chapters about them the last are the weeding chapters. No mention of their kids *sobs*
