I just bought a switch oled and can't set it up. When powered on, it says to connect the joy cons. The left joy con connects but the right doesn't so i can't even set it up. What do I do?
Welp i assume you would have already tried reattaching the joycons so i think its time to get a replacement/refund…
Check if there's any plastic film on the connectors of the joycon? Sometimes manufacturers add them there for added protection. Also, give it a few mins to do a quick charge? Might have a depleted battery.
For some reason it always takes a long time to get the joycons working right. It always takes me 30 min or so every time we set up a new switch. Make sure both are charged and try connecting them strait to the switch this self. Then just keep fiddling with it for a while. Eventually I’ve always gotten it to work
