Whats your weapon of choice? For me it is newspaper It killed a few but they keep coming and waking me in my sweet sleep
Two hands to slap the mosquito. I'm not as cool as Jackie Chan, who uses chopsticks and then a fly swatter.
I use myself as a bait then squash them to death... that said, I'm one of those people that rarely attracts insects.
Blood type O <.< universal donor apparently attract mosquitoes. Time to find smelly lotions to repell em.... was it mint or lavender? Smash em alllllll!
If land on me, hand works fine. Rolled up newspaper/ magazine are weapon of choice given the customization for the perfect weight/toughness. That being said, unless I'm by myself, most of the time they land on someone else. I'm pretty much never get bitten at home as they all seem to love the rest of my family.
According to an entomologist I know, they are attracted to dark colors and carbon dioxide. Their recommendation: wear light colors, hang out with someone wearing dark colors that talks a lot.
anything at hand, like my hands fingers for smaller flies on desk or flat surfaces unfortunately I currently do not possess any fly swatters
Whatever I can grab that's closest to me, and then my hands if I can't find anything to kill her with. small rant: I hate mosquitos. Haven't met a person who doesn't. Also, besides being trespassers of homes, thieves of blood, and loud/annoying, they also have nasty diseases they can carry from person to person from blood, yuck. I'm pretty sure the ecosystem could survive without them, but I'm not a specialist in Environmental science so what can I really say. I still hate all of them though. I'm especially angry because it's fall here, and very cold. Yet I keep seeing mosquitos around, and they're all just hanging about, getting ready to attack me. To further anger me, they all swarm at the door when I get home, and at least 3 or 4 slip through the door when I try to get in. Just the other night I was around the house up late, trying to hunt one down and kill her before she could steal my precious blood. The audacity. (And I squashed it later, I won).
