I want to start a discussion of the weird, strange, sometimes even unhealthy habits that we have on the space of the Internet (apart from using the social networks too much and stuff - that's just boring and cliche). Since I started it, I'll go first - mine is hoarding. I save and save and save content I encounter, and flood my disks with shit I know for certain I'll never have the time to use. digital books (mostly them... So many books. if they were physical, I'd probably be buried under them, my whole damn city too), images, mp3, mp4 and even games I'll never play. I just can't help it. I see it, if I can download it - I must.
Got the same issue. That, and assuming that most people over the Internet are actual "normal" human beings, capable of rational thought.
Occasionally watching gore... intentionally to creep myself out. Meh I don't see much difference in people online....we got anonymity to act how ever we want but the intellectual capacity is same in real life and virtual. Actually having a written conversation gives more time to think through and give a rational talk.... Irl it's more on what you know about them already, their body language, tone....most of the times the words are not that sensible...and longer conversation has a lot of half eaten sentences.
I tend to start reading long stories when I have something much more important coming up, like my exams. this tendency is so strong I even read MTL. as long as I complete the novel After that I find another mtl to read
Same here. As soon as there is an exam, suddenly everything on the internet becomes more interesting. Even some lame drama series I had on my pile of shame. I just binge watch and read everything.
Lol same, I have so many digital and physical books from education to fiction literature and barely have time to read them all.
I have this specific folder filled with pictures, that I don't need, and it takes up the most space. I keep adding to it and have never organized or cleaned it out. It's just pictures of cute things (along with a ton of pictures of my own cats). Maybe I will make a thread about sharing cute pictures so I can create a use for it... I can't think of anything else right now, it's too early in the morn. Here's a couple randomly picked though: Spoiler: cute stuff :b {} {} {} {} {} {}
I checked my post again after I posted it to make sure I got the grammar right then edit it even if just a word is missing. i don't even bother at someone else's grammar.
I enjoy shit posting in any argument online over how good or bad Dark Souls 2 is. Whenever i see someone bring it up I'm almost compelled to bring up Soul Memory, the worst thing ever invented in online gaming, and just endlessly argue about it.
My bad~ Here are my cats! :] Spoiler: Ton of Cats {} this one has a filter, and he is our outdoor/indoor cat. His name is 'Henry Lucas Thirston the I' (the First) and he has terrible breath and loves to snuggle. {} These two (above and below) are baby Henry pictures, along with a sort of foot reveal? Haha. {} {} {} {} {} {} The Calico is Azrael, as named after the cartoon cat in 'Smurfs'. She's sassy and snide, only showing affection during dinner time. Penelope is the mostly-all black one, named after Penelope Cat in the Looney Tunes. She is a wusspuss and scares herself to the point where she pees all over the floor. She's very affectionate when she wants to though.
I have literally Hoarding issue, If I see a game that looks like fun I just download it and it causes the issue of storage space. so from 2002 to now, I got 4 500gig harddisks filled with old games(yes for some reason I just play it for a few hours then forget about it) and currently, my 10TB is almost 40% filled (mix of androids game, flash, PC, text, and emulator) for some reason, I still think 'I don't have a game to play anymore'
