Recommendations Background character Mc that has nothing to do with the "main story" or side characters

As the title suggests, I'm looking for either an extra that never becomes involved with the main story (think a story about "villager a" that is there while the hero is off fighting the demon lord) or a side character watching the hero do their thing and get stronger. If you're only looking for MC as a mob that originally has nothing to do with the plot: Otome Game no Mobu desura naindaga. MC is an apprentice gardener working at the original game's villainess mansion.
