agreed. I don't get why so many Isekai want to be amature chef novels at least 10% of the time. It's not fun to read the MC ramble on about how delicious their fantasy food is. It's amusing a few times but after a while it's just like "OMG this isn't Shogeki no Soma!"

I see Van describing home as the place he provides his family with safety and luxury. Like fortress levels of safety. Cause walls upon walls upon wall of fully automated defenses lol.
home eh, for my part, I think it is a place where one can feel comfortable or safe. For Vandelieu, any place where a member of his family lives is his home, and if someone wants to take his home, then let him prepare to eat poison

You're both right, Van's idea of home would be the Banda sized sphere of influence around Van, and his familiars, where he can keep an eye on his family. There are probably even trace amounts of his blood in all the Magical Girl equipment, so that his Sense Death will be triggered for other people.
well, in itself it is a universally abstract concept that generates different feelings in people, when we extend it to a character with the same variant as Vandeliu, it gets more confusing
