Hey everyone, I've been trying to find some good ghuzeng music like that Shikku from naruto (the beginning of the track, or Fighting spirit towards the end, Cresent Moon etc), with the fast playing and the upbeat rythm and the modern vibe. But to be honest I'm completely stuck, I can't find anything on the web in general or youtube. There's plenty of traditional s...tuff which is slow as f--- Anyways, it's fine, I like it and I can enjoy it when I'm in a slow mood but I'd also like to find some fast stuff I could listen to while playing game or something... Anyways, if any expert got some good links, please share, thanks !!!
So game and old movie musics... Kinda hard to find on youtube Kekw. Try adding qin, lute, and pipa to your search. Usually fast music have drums as a base to them like in war musics.
What about the shamisen? I heard One Piece made a great theme for the Wano arc with it involved. Spoiler: One Piece Wano Arc Theme Extended
十面埋伏 This piece is traditionally played on the pipa but guzheng versions are also popular. it's a pretty old piece of music and it's pretty much the fast piece of traditional Chinese music. I think it feels pretty modern despite how old it is. 孙权天下 Of all things this was originally a Vocaloid song! But I feel the guzheng version sounds the best, but it's also available in all sorts of other instruments. This flute cover is especially good:
Since I never watched/played Naruto, I had to search for the music first. None of those sound like guzheng or guqin to me.
Guys, thanks for you suggesttions, I'll watch them all ^^ (already started) @frustratedguy109 Does that matter ? I'm just asking for some fast paced/battle-like modern guqin and such, if you have any, just make some suggestions, if not, well... =)
I don't really know of any other than Ambush from 10 Sides, which has already been posted. I don't know what this music is, but it's part of the reason why the 1996 TVB adaption of 笑傲江湖 (Smiling Proud Wanderer) is my favorite.
