My usual weekend is reading or playing games. Which is understandable considering the Pacific Northwest of the United State of America is usually rainy this time of the year. But I need some fresh air and something to do. Unfortunately I injured myself running not to long ago. So I can’t hike for miles like I use to. I thought about going to my gym and focus my workouts on my upper body, but I’ve already been doing that. So I want to do something different. Any suggestions? That’s for reading

Bike? Less impactful on your knees, but can get you out there.
    Yard work/putting up holiday decor?
Volunteer to pick up trash outside or some other community service?
Go dog walking at the ASPCA?
Holiday shopping at local artist gift shops?

I just spent the week on the coast, so depending on how close you are you could go for a walk along the beach, or just get some clam chowder.

Very good suggestions. I really like the volunteer thing. I’ll look into it. Thanks

Let’s list that as plan B or maybe plan Z

Sadly I don’t own one, but I’ll think about getting one. Any system or games you can recommend?

Oh! I like this. This is right up there with volunteering

Yeah, I’ve been doing that after my workouts. It has help me loosen up

Hmm. Not sure that would be enough for me

Sadly, the beach is a good couple of hours away and that seems like to far out of the way. But I did like the idea

No balcony, but I like the idea of reading somewhere. Except for the cold wet environment part. I’ll think about

I want to thank everyone for all the great ideas. I really appreciate it

Maybe I could volunteer and plant trees or something

    Thanks!

I would love to dance. Especially, a Latin version. Love those, but sadly. As stated on my post dancing will be a problem because of my injury. Still that was awesome suggestion

Clean your house, Rearrange your house/ room, do any chores you can find, definitely gonna tire you out + you can do this daily. You can also look for things in the house and try DIY or just organize things.
You can also play games that require physical activities or just brain activity (dominos or games similar to track maze) . Meditation can also help, tho it's not too physical (meditation means focusing on everything you do, be it walking/ eating, the mainstream one is focusing on meditation objects).
