Ship wars would've been a better term for it. The point is that ship wars will happen even if they don't have romantic feelings for each other. Shit has existed for millenia just like shitposting has existed for thousands of years https://kashgar.com.au/blogs/history/the-bawdy-graffiti-of-pompeii-and-herculaneu
Because she acts creepy, is possessive and manipulative? And all while trying to maintain an innocent facade. I don't hate her myself but I do dislike her. And the Bom ship doesn't bother me since I already accepted it before her creepiness became so apparent. I've not seen that many people in the comments promoting other ships very strongly. So claiming that it's due to "shipping wars" is just a excuse to avoid thinking about what people dislike about Bom.
Compare Bom to Yeorum in this chapter. Isn't Yeorum just incredibly cute? And she has an easygoing and straightforward relationship with the MC. It's very refreshing compared to the angsty relationship between the MC and Bom.
The difference between Yeorum and Bom is that one won't suddenly pop up at night and stick a boxcutter inside your ribcage because you didn't pay attention to her for one attosecond.
Yeesh. I hope this can be a moment where he's forced to try something else cuz otherwise this is too sad. Yeorum is identifying with the chimera, if he killed it then it would be like he's killing her (again)
Hard to say. With the clues the chapters gave I think the kid's a life drainer, which would explain why BM has been getting thinner and thinner. The story of the nasty one doing the same on a grand scale in Arandot was some pretty heavy-handed foreshadowing. The only way I could see him leaving it alive would be to somehow fix it himself, he's highly unlikely to leave such a dangerous threat running loose that could affect the world at large and, specifically, the lil lizards. The question would be whether he has enough knowledge to do that or not since Yeorum could almost certainly convince him to try.
well even if he kills the kid i hope he at least explain to yeorum why human type chimera is dangerous. i dont want their relationship to go bad..
Ooof. That chimera's a little b*****d, isn't it? From all the bits and pieces that have been dropped, I'd guess the flaw in BM's heart creation method has to do with leaving too much monster in the final result and allowing it to grow rather than purifying it of the taint to make it truly human. Looks like Yu Jitae has the knowledge to fix the problem (and not just in typical SMASHBANGSQUELCH fashion haha) and Yeorum played the strongest card of all, emotional and mental health. Kid's gonna make it aftter all.
This is what character development should look like. You develop the character piece by piece, not rushing it and carefully introduce the changes that happen naturally. From an unfeeling 'monster' to a complicated 'human', Jitae has come a long way.
never understood the Bom hate and the reasons for hating were pretty stupid as if coming from a 10 y/o mentally retarded kid...Yeorum development has been actually good so far... way to go Yu Jitae, gotta work yourself up a bit more
Of course. Like he said, he wouldn't care if half the world was destroyed, as long as the dragons are safe, crowing well, and happy.
Welp things got weird. Funny enough I though dick jitae was referring to his clone and I thought that was highly inappropriate
