Judging from how the emperor is supposedly in love with her from the start but is shitty at expressing it, causing our MC to basically be disregarded in the palace and shoved away like a pile of dust only in the first few chapters? I definitely say that this novel has to give the emperor one hell of a redemption arc before he could be at least a little likable. Even her own child who she birthed and raised all alone betrayed her and took the hand of the man who gave her suffering the moment he stretched his out. Not even having the slightest awareness of how his mother is being beaten, batter, and bruised while he bathes in riches, love, and warmth without her. Save yourself some tears and skip this one, the only likable character in this novel is the MC.

Spoils pleasee, Tell me how it'll end honestly i want MC just leave in the end, the husband and MC's son better have a good reason to act that way But yea, probably this novel will end up like any other novels where the A-hole husband end up with MC and voila! Happy ending for everyone ~~

So far there is only 12 chapters translated for me it’s worth reading but lot of readers maybe drop it or gave it low rate its because Mc is the only one who is suffering. Just like what the previous commenters say his son and ml is unlikable because they are indifferent or not aware of fl sufferin*in the palace. The emperors aide (the count) dont want mc to become an empess and thinks he is using her son to become when in fact she dosnt want to become one and there this Belotta in latest chapter who verbally torment mc and claim to Leon she will becom her mother (she basically claiming she will become an empress LOl). Overall Hoping for her son and ML become aware of mc suffering in palace and kick the hell out
So far he doesn't have any empress and she only wants mc's to become an empress but because she is a commoner there is a lot of opposition and MC doesn't want to become one in the first place. and his son with MC is the only child so far.
In some modern stories also I have seen the woman get pregnant and she will give birth to the child and raised them for years and the moment the father appeared the child will take the father's hand with out even considering their mother's sufferings.
