Why It Should Get Picked Up: The title is "Reincarnated Cthulhu" but it should instead be called "Reincarnated in the Cthulhu Mythos". The protagonist is reincarnated as an ordinary human in 19th century London, England in the Cthulhu world from the Lovecraft novels. It is praised all-around for excellent writing, realistic characters, and maintaining the fear of the unknown that is so characteristic of Lovecraft's novels. One Korean review says it is "the best of all novels currently in the series." The novel itself just feels like an excuse to write about Lovecraftian Horror, as some of the mysteries and beings that are introduced do not even appear in the Cthulhu Mythos. The novel is truly just horror and mystery. The MC has no system, no special powers, and having knowledge of the Lovecraft Mythos is not enough for him to be able to go against beings that mock his understanding of the world--the MC can only survive, there is no victory. The MC being reincarnated serves no purpose other than giving him knowledge of Earth and the future, as he has basically become a full Englishman since he has lived in England longer than he has lived in Korea. Even the world is not the exact one from the Lovecraft novels, and evil lurks everywhere. The protagonist is surrounded by madmen and monsters on all sides, and if he survives it's only rewarded with a crushing fear of the new horror that still exists. Illustrations (Spoliers)

One of my favorite novels but the update is so slow compared to other series who debut within the same timeframe last year. Waiting for update is hard ya know. +1

Even though it’s an edited MTL with a few touches, it still took around 4-5 hours since I had to refer to 4-5 translation sources for better accuracy. Enjoy, that’s all I can say. And don’t expect anymore chapters because I primarily did this so this novel can get some exposure and someone pick it up.
This looks amazing ngl, a mc with no direct power progression is already interesting in an of itself.
