Ok thanks. Ahh i have seen Lapis catching the bride's flowers illustration(Gula was gritting her teeth in jealousy(or envy?). I also have seen Loren fighting against a black knight(full armor) when they visit Lapis home(i'm assuming they were, there was an illustration of a woman who look similar(a bit older) to Lapis).

 

Yeah they visited demon lands for the quest and ran into the troublemaker. Her mom is demon lord and there a several of them, headed by demon king. She requested Loren to deal with bad guy and pass the message to the ancient dragon. Loren is using Lapis’s mom old sword as the reward for that. He also owes him mom too... I guess it’s a family trait, poor Loren

The antagonist has 2 pictures: 1 colour and 1 b/w. Pretty ugly looking old man compared to Loren haha. Loren also beat up Lapis’s dad... he didn’t know though

 

Is there any news about translator? or is it dropped?

 

Oh god, I hope that piece of sh... from asian hobbyist doesn’t dare to take this novel hostage too. Maybe translator is still busy?

It was officially licensed and vol4 coming out this month but latest vol15 (jp) came out in ~December 2020 and no news ever since.
I hope it isn’t dropped

Would be a bummer. Damn. But considering that it was more than a year without a new volume it is a possibility.
P.S.
Looking at history it was in 2018 no? I heard about that cancellation - the novel (and manga) was actually quite good. Sad if this story was also affected. Though I am not sure when the volume 15 was released.

 

Wasn’t it his other novel anime adaptation that got cancelled? At least the article I found covered his other work, not the broke mercenary. Maybe there’s also a problem with the plot, last 3 or more volumes were about the same thing with no clear answer and just more and more mystery-confusion.
