Hey guys, I was just wondering if you know how to disable a feature of the chrome address bar. I don't want to disable the autocomplete, however, chrome keeps on autocompleting to pages I have never been on. Like I checked my history and I have genuinely never visited these NU pages yet chrome recommends them to me. And ngl, its led to quite a few awkward convos when I'm screen sharing... Do any of you know how to stop NU from showing up on my address bar?
I think you can clear your browsing history or something maybe? Generally, only if you have opened the page repeatedly in the past will it appear here.

I think rather than the auto complete, you being recommended the pages you've actually been on should be your main concern.
you can either 1.clear all your history 2. clear only novelupdates 3. clear only spesific page(s) 4. clear just the dropdown history the method below is for no.3. example are for MS Edge Chromium. other browsers might differ slightly Spoiler before {} - open your history page. paste the url of the page to get it listed - tick all corresponding items - hit 'delete' {} after {} .
this kind of error or occurring happens to me too back in the days, around 2013 to 2016 i think. dunno how i counter it, but i probably just simply switch my browser. since chrome is not all that important to me.
