Oh my gosh you are spirit of Curiosity saver (nvm) Thank you so much for massive spoiler. And especially Ivan, I've been really curious about him and the romance moment
Words can't describe how refreshing this story is!!!!!!! . . . After reading Duchess of the Glass House, Solitary(Untouchable) Lady, I Don't Love You Anymore and other hopelessly serious-themed manhwas.
I was REALLY hoping Tapas would pick it up, dang it! Don't mind Tappytoon its just expensive. My game plan for those I'm not sure if I want to own them is I wait for them to go on sale then buy them, then at least I can save some money. This one is probably buy it at full price list. I really like this one so its worth it.
Spoiler: Chapter 39 (Manhwa) So they decided to bake... They were thinking of baking two carrot cakes, one with cinnamon and the other one without cinnamon. They will also make a frosting (icing?) using nut milk and oat milk. Karnov was the one who was grinding it and this was the non-verbatim dialogue between them - Pavel: "Why are you making him do this?" whisper Aisha: "What? Is it because you think he's gonna kill you?" Karnov: "I can hear you." Pavel: lowers his voice "No... Because he's the Commander of the Imperial Knights" Karnov: "I could still hear you" Then Aisha playfully dismiss it. So finally, the carrot cake was done and they ate it, the one with cinnamon tasted better. Aisha gave Karnov a piece and when Karnov tasted the one without cinnamon, he was like "..." and Aisha said, non verbatim - Aisha: "The one with cinnamon tasted better, isn't it?" Karnov: "I didn't say that" Aisha also fed the Noctis Elf the cake and the noctis elf were like "You tricked me... I felt stomach ache" Aisha was then panicking thinking like "was it spoiled? No... No..." But Phoebe told her that it was because the Noctis elf's emotion bursted or something. If I may add... Spoiler Aisha was asked (by Karnov, while they were waiting for the carrot cake) why was her cookbook full of sweets then Aisha pointed out that Pavel only cooks foods and not bake, and people put flowers on the death's tombstones although it wouldn't make them alive, it was because it made them feel better (or something). That's why for Aisha, she wanted her sweets to become just like flowers. Also... Spoiler: Pavel Wasn't Pavel mentioned as the successor of the "Duke"? Why was it mentioned there too that Pavel is the successor of the Count? I can recognize some words in Korean (I stopped learning it since I'm too busy) and the word was 백작 (Count) instead of 공작 (Duke) when his succession was mentioned on the Chapter 39. Also, I forgot/omitted the other details.
If the purpose of forcing her to stay was to just pressure the cp, couldn’t they just keep the other guy who wanted to stay?! also, I’m wondering why her parents didn’t come to the castle. Was it because they didn’t want to or they couldn’t?
It's a mix of both. The Emperor wanted Asha's father to become the Emperor despite Alosha's father being the CP at that time. Asha's father was said to be wise and intelligent, deemed fit to be an Emperor. Distraught by the news, Alosha's father died after being overwhelmed by his spirit's power (it's been a while so I forgot but his death was publicly associated with it). Asha's father hated the Emperor for this because: 1) he didn't want the position in the first place, and 2) the decision made him lose his brother. If he were to return to the palace, nobles would want him to return again which would highly endanger Alosha and his current position. Tbh they could've handled it in a better way but I guess his/their hatred for the grandfather and the throne ranked higher than everything else lol
