The 7th Gym Leader

You reach the gym leader and the first thing he sends out is a ninjask. You attack first, but it used protect. It's speed boost then takes effect. Afterwards, it uses substitute along with swords dance. After another sword dance, it baton passes to Regigigas. His attacks include giga impact, earth quake, drain punch, zen headbutt, and iron head. Yes, that is five, tough.

How do you respond??

Those still work for modern pokemon games??

 

Yay, free kills with a shedinja. shedinja is one of my fav pokemon and it always feels good to get to flex with it. Btw how does the regi have 5 moves? And why would the ninjask have no damage moves?

 

the max moves a pokemon can have is 4 and regigigas can't learn iron head.

no. but Emulators for handheld nintendo colsoles still exist and I believe the latest handheld has a working emulator.

I simply use whatever damaging attacks my pokemon have available. I only played Pokemon Red and Pokemon Silver, but I can say I never had a problem beating Gym Leaders even as a child, so I'm confident that I can beat the 7th Gym Leader by using whatever attacks I have available~

And if I somehow lose... Well, guess I just need to overlevel a bit?

 

What kind of non-Pocket Monster gym would it be?

 

Roar, Unaware, Haze, Encore, Endeavor, Taunt, Multihit moves, Sturdy etc

Or just run shedinja and laugh.

Or just use the fact that pokemons games are easy as fuck and just brute force through them
