I recall a manga like that- unfortunately I believe it was cancelled. It was something like the heroine fell in love at first sight with the Hero, it's that vague European Fantasy with parties and magic. And she had a unique skill for finding stuff, she basically became a trailing NPC with everything on hand. The party found it odd, but the Hero did nothing to reproach her as she was competent, in taking care of herself, and was particularly helpful. As it's a manga it was short and sweet, and I heard there is an interesting reason for why she more specifically was trailing after him. Could be a novel as I don't recall that reason showing up as it was cut short.
