The pity is that even with all that, nothing makes sense.

'Bigger' is not always 'better'. Take the current pandemic, for example. Though it does ensure it remains in the news just like how the OP too is publicizing this title. :blobpeek:

It makes it really easy to know what the book is about. Also searching for forgotten titles should be easier. I do find it funny when the title is a better summary then the summary of the novel.

There should be like a 5 word maximum for book title lengths

The limit is 100 characters on narou. That's ~50 words when translated.
The original title is 95 characters, so it's about the limit.

To be honest with your title I thought you were gonna talk about anime breasts.

I like this title; we don't need to read the whole novel to know the details.

I don't know when this way of titling web novels esp. in Japanese web novels became mainstream... but it's a fad. It will lose its novelty at some point. I just have no idea when. Hang in there! Lmao.

why would he return to the royal family if he was banished?

Its because Soyetsu (or smth like that) only displays the title and no description so the authors are trying to lure those poor readers with the description like title

Well its a competition to get as much buyer/reader as possible.
You cant even read the synopsis of a book unless its out in the open without wrapper. Which is definitely a red flag for some bookstores since they will just read and dont buy.

    Looks like trash though.
I prefer that they just put tags rather than long ass titles.

The actual title is only 10 words here, the rest is the sub title.

I see nothing wrong with slapping the summary to your title.. japanese tends to shorten it all up into 1 word at the end of it anyways..

347 chars in en and 95 in jp. How creative. Of course like always it probably sucks, and if somehow it doesn't then well it will get a shorter, much more legible and usable alias.

I do miss the days when the titles were shorter though. To me smaller titles like "Toradora!" or heck even "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu" just sound much more professional.
