    I never understood why solo leveling have so many followers. The novel was so bland. Every characters were 2 dimensional and only catered to MC. Is it because of the manhwa?

    Yes the Manwha, I think it was the 1st one to bring in the Korean tropes to Manhwha. It also had good graphics. Since then you notice on every manwha people say "solo leveling clone" despite many of the novels being made before solo leveling.

    The art style is similar to A returner’s Magic should be special. The MC has a rather strange personality for a mage. A rather overconfident I don’t give a f*** attitude towards most things in general and being quite true to his desires. If comparing it to other stories with mages as protagonists, it’s a rather unique one (not feeling the calm and cautious attitude). I don’t know if it’s just the way the manga portrayed it though (hoping it has a novel waiting to be picked up). Also magic style reminded me of BEM (magic missile nostalgia) although I don’t think it’ll end up anything like it.

    Also, I found the Korean novel on Google: Volume 1 ... Interestingly, Google's ebook reader has a translation feature built into it. It's not super pleasant, but it is readable.

    Can someone spoil me on Isabelle? Was that her name? The red haired girl with a bangs. I really don't like her at all.
