So I am trying to recall the story. Basically the MC transmigrates in an abusive story, where the Villain basically has her on lockdown at home and she dresses like with insane levels of goth makeup to make herself look uglier? Anyway, then the story starts and the transmigrated girl knows the plot, and negotiates with the guy to let her go back to prep school and then she starts to change her looks and stop trying to go for some other guy etc. MEanwhile the villain guy apparently suffers from Insomnia and like yang energy or something? Basically her touch cools him down and lets him rest or something. I never finished it, and it popped in my head today. Any idea what story?

Thanks both of you! I just powered through the Manhua, and recalled why I’d dropped the webnovel originally. It’s the Spoiler: Spoiler plot twists that bring in the weird hidden world xianxian stuff, not to mention the kid and the whole assassin memories thing there? I feel it would have been still great (or better) without that . Funny enough it was easier to stomach in the manhua version versus having to read it, and it are up my New Years waiting for the fireworks!
