Anyone else thinks it's weird to celebrate the new year arbitrarily at the end of December. It's not like its a time of significance of the solar or moon cycle or anything. And since most of our time measurements are based off of the movement of celestial bodies, it seems weird to just place it at the end of December, just because it lines up nicely with the roman calandar. I always felt winter solstice made for a better new year. Days stop getting shorter and start getting longer and all that Anyways, Happy New Years.
