Misunderstanding, there's some woman named Rachel who wanted to hurt her. It was her whom he was talking about to get killed. He said after the birth of child because he may not wanted a death, specifically a murder taking toll on his wife's health and in this period of time when she is carrying a child. As FL's parents died a gruesome death and she can't stand someone close to her or around getting killed.

 

Now I'm curious if the MC was able to successfully run away or did the duke know about her plans of running away with his child?
