hello .. I used to open pdf Korean files in google drive and make them doc files to mtl it but now I can’t it will be some numbers and English alphabet .. what is the solution? ( ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ _ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀ )
Hi, the problem is that it was a PDF. Lots of times, PDF's display characters (such as a pi symbol, Korean character, etc) through the use of custom fonts. The custom fonts use various numbers. The numbers represent the various different characters you are viewing. And when you copy those numbers, your computer doesn't have that font so it just copies the numbers that represent the characters. One way you can get around this is by OCR'ing (basically, running the PDF through a program that will reread the characters). https://tools.pdf24.org/en/ocr-pdf Upload the PDF, change the language to "Korean", and click "Force OCR". OCR takes quite a while, so you'll have to be patient.
@pleasepickthisup thanks < 3 .. but it also didn’t work Before I just upload a pdf file of some Korean novel at google drive then open it by google doc and it will work ( ᵒ̴̶̷̥́ _ᵒ̴̶̷̣̥̀ )
If that doesn't work, Mannn, that sucks, have you tried using the camera function on the google translate app on a phone?
Are you doing ocr for k-novels? If yes, try using vflat (99.99999% accurate) It has 100 image ocr limit per day but you can just change your timezone.
