A few people are having some tea. The empress, Enzo, Freya, and the MC. Enzo drinks his tea, tea is poisoned, he dies by bleeding out of every hole on his body. Freya sees this, gets traumatized. MC sees this, panics. Empress sees this, activates a teleportation array that teleports MC right into Cesare’s hands. The one who poisoned Enzo was the empress, she was being threaten by Cesare. “Do this or your daughter will die.”

As for in which chapter this happens, I don't really know. Sorry.

Does anyone have any spoilers on the moment when Izek calls Freya on her BS?

 

It's been a while since i read the novels

There some throughout the novel, that Izek calls out Freya subtly. Like considering his wife to talk first than Freya. Izek is best husband.

The most prominent one is, when Cesare visit. Izek has to fight for festival the next day, but Freya visit his lodging (he slept different place because of the festival), and Freya said that his wife is cheating on him with Cesare and so on. She believes Izek will be hers, and Izek calls her out like, I don't care what you said, Freya storms out after (serves her right )

 

One time after Ruby and Freya had a fight, Izek had spent the night calming Ruby down and finally find out that Freya was the one who constantly harassed Ruby and made her cry.

At the next welcoming banquet, Freya started to try acting chummy with Izek again (she always do this chummy act thinking she's special to Izek cause he never rebuke her when in reality he actually finds her completely annoying and only tolerate her cause she's Elena's friend lol) and try to say misleading things about Ruby and her bro only for Izek to tell her to shut tf up about his wife affair, asking her where tf does she got the audacity to act as if she have any right to meddle or say anything in his marriage. He basically insult her by calling her a busy body and even go as far to insult Freya's mom lmao. Freya got so pissed that she mocked Izek for being a typical man who simp for their wife after marriage and Izek just proudly agrees that he is a simp towards Ruby. Freya was so angry and ashamed she probably never thought that Izek would treat her that harsh (suck it up btch, you're not that special )
