Recommendations Kingdom building novel

Novels like The World Online and The Lord’s Empire where the MC has something to build from in the start.

i personally enjoy I am the Monarch and Undefeated God of War.

HJC is sort of Kingdom Building.

 

The biggest name here, Release that Witch

 

I agree with Release that Witch. It's one of the first novels that comes to mind with Genjitsushugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki when thinking about Kingdom Building.

 

Undefeated God of War does he gain a army / kingdom early on?

 

These are the only two I would recommend for what OP is specifically looking for. There are quite a few others that have this theme but most of them aren't very interesting

 

Road to Kingdom is the way!

 

He travels to a couple of places before he gained his army. not that far though, I think 100-200 chapters in(?)

Goblin Kingdom. Slightly different, given that the MC reincarnated as a lowly goblin, but it's kingdom building all the same. He becomes the leader of a small group of goblins very early in the story and he gradually expands from there.

Tales of Reincarnated Lord but the first 50 chapter ish can be a chore to read

 

Not as early on as I am the Monarch. In Undefeated God of War, MC starts off with nothing and builds up from there so it takes awhile but still early on in context of chinese novels. In I am the Monarch, the MC starts off in the army and begins developing it right at the beginning.

 

Overlord - vol 9 up

Sevens - opposite of Road to Kingdom's MC, but both mc has similar goal.. it has a long prologue (1-6 volumes) it's an empire building that focuses on kingdom diplomacy and political manipulation

The Faraway Paladin - the best isekai, similar to Sevens when it comes to discipleship

This sounds really, really familiar. Except it's not a 2 sqm island but a 2sqm raft.
