Hello, I would really like to read some novels that are incredibly sad and will make the salty liquid that we call tears flow out of my eye sockets. Doesn't have to have a happy ending (if its a bad ending I prefer if the MC dies) and would like it to be BL but its alright if its not. Thank you! (Also It'd be desirable if the others who were associated with the MC feel regret/intense sadness)

Hi OP, If you are still looking for a sob story with a violent twist, In collaboration with Huai Shang, I have begun a project to professionally translate from Chinese into English her most acclaimed works, starting off with Lantern: Behold the Bayonet which is titled Light on the Blade in English. It is available as an Amazon kindle ebook if you search 'Light on the Blade'.
It's not BL sadly, but I think it's what you are looking for, it's called The time of the terminally ill extra/ Limited extra time.
Our Second Master isn’t a BL, but it’s pretty famous for its great storytelling and wholesome MC. The ML does feel regret as well for treating the MC badly. It’s not your typical story with the typical characters. I recommend it if you haven’t read it already. As well as that story I always recommend. Mulberry Song. My top favorites, I always go back to them at some point to get a good cry.
I'm always in a mood to read something sad that'll make me weep, this sounds intriguing I'll check it out! Thank you!
