Spoiler: Poor Christie, Duke Payhorn Postpone The Wedding

Christie asked duke payhorn about wedding dress, she wanted to meet dress designer. However duke payhorn are not interested, christie wanted to get married this year but duke payhorn wanted to postpone it. Maybe next year or two more year.

After meeting with Alyssa, his attitude become different so christie plan not just to humiliate Alyssa but to trample her. She believe duke become like this because of Alyssa (Which is true).

Duke Payhorn POV

Duke knows that Alyssa didnt like him anymore, furthermore duke eugene also seen close with Alyssa. But he believe duke eugene will become boring and throw Alyssa. Eventhough he knew about Alyssa heart but he didnt want to give up and will pursue Alyssa again.

Spoiler: First Job In Politics, Duke eugene sulk, My Theory

Before this when she meet crown prince, they will discuss something about life. Now, when she receive a new name their discussion are about politics. She receive one task about aristocrat (something about natural resources, right now aristocrat will hit loss because the price drop, so they need someone to become negotiator or someone who can persuade other noble). Crown prince choose Alyssa because he believe Alyssa could handle it well, Alyssa has ability to persuade people.

Alyssa need more to time to do a research about natural resources so she told crown prince she need to visit the site (Country side, other country). But crown prince face changed, he asked her who she will bring. Alyssa plan to bring neri only (her secretary).

When she meet duke eugene, she also told him about her planning. Duke eugene also asked the same question but after hearing Alyssa answer. He become sad and sulking. Duke eugene show his childish side to Alyssa, he wanted Alyssa attention and he hope Alyssa will invite him to go vacation.

Her reason for visiting not just for work only but she also wanted a vacation. Alyssa try to comfort duke eugene and they went to opera watching the theater.

(This is my theory, in next chapter Crown prince may follow Alyssa. Duke eugene respect Alyssa decision but crown prince are different. Eventhough Alyssa refused him he still wanted to flirt Alyssa).

Spoiler: I feel Annoyed with Alyssa and crown prince

to be honest im a bit annoyed with Alyssa and crown prince

• Alyssa clearly told her about noble opposition and her refusal but crown prince still wanted to flirt with her.
• Eventhough she is dating with duke eugene but she still accept crown prince invitation to drink tea and walk together.
  
• I know Alyssa did this for her company but if crown prince misunderstood or suddenly Crown prince saw duke eugene and Alyssa. This may cause another issue.
  
• Alyssa should told Crown Prince the truth that she had a lover and would marry him someday.

 

Wait, she’s dating Duke Eugene? I thought she didn’t answer his confession yet and they simply decided to exchange letters to get to know each other like friends. In any case, it probably seems more accurate to say that the only thing she’s committed to right now is her career and business so we shouldn’t expect her to think too much about accepting the CP’s advances since it would benefit her business. I can actually see why the reviews on Ridibooks say that the novel is very business centered and one particular reviewer mentioned that it’s like the author couldn’t handle a modern setting (because it would definitely require much more knowledge of the business world) and instead chose a historical setting which in some ways comes off anachronistic.

What i remember, yeah she didnt refuse duke eugene but she didnt accept it. They agreed to get to know each other.

For crown prince she cannot refuse or avoid crown prince because he is a businesss partner and imperial family. But she did mention please find another woman (she reject crown prince with a reason, but she didnt reject him like 'i do not like you' or 'i love someone else')

Thats why i feel it a bit annoyed

 

Spoiler: Departure, Rebellion

Alyssa and neri board the ship, it took a few days to reach to destination. Meanwhile they met one man who said interesting things "about a new world". The uncles was stranded and told people that he arrived in new place. People didnt believe him, how ever Alyssa listen to his story.

Eventhough Alyssa visit there to work, but it was vacation for her and neri. Thats why she only bring neri, they went to buy many things. Alyssa as a jewellery owner took interest with shell necklace design, however neri feel disgusting with it.

Then a sudden riot happen, people were killed every where. Neri and alyssa were shocked, people run away from that area. Alyssa try to bring neri close to her so they wouldnt get separated.

Spoiler: Alyssa Save A woman, But the woman is an elf

There was a rebellion happen, their target is to kill innocence tourist and people. Neri and alyssa escape from the scene, but Alyssa found some woman unconscious. She wanted to save that woman and told neri to help her.

A soldier came to defeat the riot/rebel, Alyssa use this time to hide in one building. Inside that building there was a group of people hiding from the riot. The woman that Alyssa try to help has long ear, she realise this woman is not a human but an elf.

About ELF, there was a legend about them. They didnt live with a human but in a forest, so it is a suprise and it was first time she saw an elf. She noticed elf shoulder was wounded, so she use napkin to stop the bleeding. However the bleeding didnt stop and she decided to suture the wounds. She succed to suture the wounds (eventough she didnt have knowledge about medical)

Spoiler: Alyssa pay for all the patient treatment

In a morning, soldier came and annouce that they manage to stop the rebellion. Those who are wounded can go to hospital to seek a treatment. Alyssa and neri bring a woman elf to hospital (she still unconscious), Alyssa hiding her ears so there was no commotion about an elf identity revealed to public. The woman elf is very beautiful, white jade skin. It seems the legend about elf beauty is true.

The elf receive the treatment from doctor and after the treatment she was shocked, they charge around 800,000 denits. Alyssa thought the government paid for the treatment but didnt. She gave them a money to pay for the treatment, after a moment she heard the cry of another patient. A commoner who didnt have money but their son is in critical condition. Not just her but other people started to say the same thing.

Only noble and merchant have money to pay for the treatment. Alyssa cry looking at that situation so she decided to meet with finance director. Alyssa asked her about "how much it take for everyone in the hospital to get a treatment".

One patient around 1 million - 2 million denits, Alyssa took the check and told the finance director she will pay it all. She wrote down 200 million denits, if its not enough they can ask her for more money.

Spoiler: Elf woke up

Alyssa and neri eat a breakfast, yesterday was chaos so they couldnt eat anything. After that they went to meet with elf again, luckily this time the elf woke up from sleep.

That elf was shocked and ask alyssa about this place, alyssa told her everything that happen. That elf introduce her name as cecilia.

 

Spoiler: Elf is a princess, she had secret mission

The identity of an elf is PRINCESS, her name is cecilia. She had an ability to turn her ear to human ear but when she lost consciousness her ability was cancelled.

She trust Alyssa because they saved her life, other people run away from the intruder but Alyssa and neri save her. So she told her identity and secret mission to Alyssa. She came from the place that old man sailor told alyssa, they can come to her place by ship.

The reason she came to human world is to get seed or tree, without that tree they couldnt get pregnant?

So to save elf descendant she need to retrieve seed or tree, currently second prince take that tree. I dont know what happen but Second prince take that tree and princess wanted to apologize to imperial family and take that seed back. It happen 1000 years ago. So they may forget what happen to the past (my translation my have some mistake, you guys can re read back).

In just one day, elf wound has healed. This due to mana inside her body that make her body can heal faster than a human. Owh she may travel together with elf (need to read more chapter)

 

I lost 300 cash in kakao page, i thought the event will give permanent cash. I didnt know it was seasonal.

Spoiler: New jewel and People are worried

Alyssa and Neri visit elf territory and meet with king, she found jewel (Ma Jeong Sok). It was abundance and useless for elf, however it is valuable for human and the reserve are a lot. King grant Alyssa ma jeong sok because she saved her daughter.

Back into her territory, RAVIEBELL, Duke Eugene, Azellis and Crown prince they all worried about Alyssa. Crown prince almost went to search her there. Duke eugene send search mission but couldnt find alyssa. When Alyssa back home they all become happy.

Spoiler: Dance With Crown Prince

Crown prince invite her to dance before meeting with aristocrat. He promised it wont affect Alyssa. Considering that this is important Alyssa agreed and leave a message she will dance with crown prince. Later she will tell him everything.

However during ball, people gossip and talked bad about Alyssa. Duke eugene not enough now she wanted to seduce crown prince. (To be honest i dont know what is the damage control he will do to cover people mouth).

Duke eugene saw Alyssa and crown prince dancing. Alyssa were anxious but crown prince smile happily. Duke eugene felt very jealous but he control his face (After they dance, duke eugene will invite alyssa to dance). However after the dance end, she and crown prince went together to other place (Meeting With Aristocrat).

People gossip about this, Its normal to dance but its not normal to disappear together. (Wait a minute, how will crown prince control public mouth?)

Spoiler: Christie Framing Alyssa

Duke eugene choose to trust Alyssa because they are lover and Alyssa told him before this happen. But the bitch christie saw it all and she try to add oil into the fire by framing Alyssa.

Duke respond are cold, he asked back christie what name alyssa use. What alyssa use to call christie name?

How come, Christie can said alyssa name like her friend. I mean if they are strangers they will use something like Lady Harpen or Lady Lapelin. But considering Christie said 'Alyssa', Alyssa must call christie by her name.

Duke eugene know what Christie did to Alyssa. Thats why he shut her up by saying this..

Spoiler: Meeting With Alyssa

During meeting there is a tension between aristocrat, the reason crown prince need Alyssa is he need someone who didnt tied to politics and can give suggestion confidently.

Alyssa asked forgiveness to envoy that came, this make other duke become angry. How come she said like that (her status at that time is crown prince advisor).

After long discussion, Alyssa add her suggestion to add ma jeong sok (that diamond) in a trade. Even crown prince are suprised, he never knew about this before. Alyssa purposely didnt tell anyone about this because it may cause a war.

If greedy uman know there is abundance ma jeong sok in elf territory. They will go to war with ELF

After alyssa meeting with aristocrat, envoy from the empire praise alyssa and they all agreed with alyssa idea.
Back to crown prince, he asked alyssa to attend next meeting but alyssa refuse it. She attended this meeting to pay crown prince because gave her new name. Crown prince then wanted to escort alyssa to back home (it was late at night) and he knew alyssa will use public carriage.

One again Alyssa refused because she didnt wanted to attract attention, crown prince try to hold alyssa hand to escort her. Then alyssa said she wanted to go back to party and hope crown prince didnt touch her to avoid scandal.

Spoiler: Alyssa meet duke eugene

In a party many noble man or lady are drunked, some of them have gone back to their home. Then she shocked when she meet duke eugene, but the expression of duke are kind of sad and wanted to cry.

Alyssa try to comfort duke eugene and bring him to terrace, duke said "we are lover" and he knew alyssa didnt betray him. But crown prince have a feeling towards her, he can feel it as a gentleman. Crown prince expression during dance (his very happy, genuinely). Alyssa then told duke she will explain it later why she went with crown prince. Not right now (maybe after ma jeong sok are distributed in this empire).

Spoiler: Being dumped before confession

3 or 4 days later she receive expensive gift (silk, diamond and many more) from crown prince. Alyssa then decide to draw a line between her and crown prince. She went to palace with all the gift and meet crown prince.

Crown prince of course feel happy because usually he will invite Alyssa but this time she came. Crown prince blushing when he said about gift, but alyssa and shocked her. "Your majesty are you like me"?

He blushed and "I try not to make it obvious". Alyssa drew the line and said "She have a lover". Crown prince then promise wont sent a gift like this anymore. He was dumped before confessed. (Before this he said to alyssa he interested with her but not like or love).

Spoiler: Crown prince met his sister

Crown prince then meet with his sister and told her everything. Crown princess half happy and half sad, she was happy her brother being dumped by alyssa (because alyssa status may cost opposition among nobles). And she feel sad looking at her brother being sad.

Actually he ready to fight nobles if alyssa agreed to went out with him, but being dumped before confession (man you can feel it). There are many woman in the empire but only alyssa manage to get his attention.

Way to go Alyssa, I’m so glad that she made things clear to the Crown Prince. For what it’s worth I hope that the Crown Prince will find love with someone else (of noble status) I really do. As for Duke Payhorn, he needs to stop pursuing Alyssa, and quit thinking that she will return to his side after how badly he treated her, and then discarded her. Christie might not be the best person, but neither is Payhorn, he’s not helping things by pursuing Alyssa. He also needs to move on and find a new love, and try to become a better man as well. It’s sweet that Duke Eugene trusts Alyssa and that he doesn’t doubt her, he’s definitely the right person for her am I right?

Ahhh~ I'm so glad the ml is the duke(brown haired). First I had the suspicion it was gonna be the crown prince. And then Az(blue haired). But then the manhwa showed alot of scene of the duke showing signs of falling inlove with fl. I thought I was gonna get second ml syndrome, glad that is the end game.

So like theres mirrors with the 3 possible ML BUT 2 of them is circular and only one is of a different shape (which is the brown haired dude). He's also the only one staring ahead unlike the other two who's looking at the side. The only mirror that's placed infront of the MC (the other two is at the back), so his mirror and him in particular is more in focus than the other two SOOOOOOO ML CONFIRMED?? HOLY

I started reading on Tapas and ngl the ML isn't as handsome as I thought he be, he's so basic af..when someone told he was the ML I was like "that ugly guy? " lol, there are alot of manhwa that have brown hair men and they looked hot af but here..I'm sorry kinda disappointed.

But it's still similar to another manhwa too, where the ML will be hot and handsome but for some damn reason the others guys would be extra and more good looking than the ML
