Yo, I’m looking for BG romance novels. - No drama/Misunderstandings (If there are misunderstandings, MUST be quickly solved, we’re talking same chapter/next chapter) - No love triangles (or one of those characters that try to be funny and get involved with the couple just for shits and giggles) - No politics/royalties/kingdom or whatever, (basically those novels where the setting is ancient china/any country and the plot diverts from the romance and into the mc / couple fighting for status, power, the like..) - IDEALLY mainly focuses on the relationship. (So building the setting, maybe side-couples, those kinds are fine, but when we go 10-20 chapters + of say the mc / a random character gaining power, studying for tests, going into a hill trying to solve a mystery WITHOUT any progress on the relationship then please no.) -Mc can be boy/girl AND no harem please Ty in advance!
princess shu i genuinely think this one is so well liked bc it includes popular misunderstanding stuff but gets resolved in the same/next 2 chapters. the beginning is a bit confusing (or it was for me) but now im rly enjoying it. the ml isnt particularly hungry for power and only accepts a promotion bc he doesnt want mc, who rigidly follows etiquette, to be "below" anyone. rn as of chapter 71 he is going to war but the main focus is their relationship

Thanks but it seems like there’s alot of drama, misunderstandings, doesn’t focus on the relationship, and sure maybe it doesn’t end as a harem, but it sure does look like there’s alot of girls who will be involved with the mc not as friends but as foils to the couple’s relationship Thank you, I’ll look into them Had this on my list for quite sometime, will probably come around to read it Thanks, already read the first novel, the second novel looks like one of those that have a typical overbearing businessman, don’t really like those types.

Only realized his feeling after being pointed out by other character. What's hindering their relationship is the statis difference The first part of their relationship is as sweet as vanilla. With each other denying their own feelings due to status difference and responsibilities
Thanks for the info, unfortunately drama was the first thing that i said to not be in the novel, may look into it in the future if I’m maybe looking for an adventure/action novel rather than a romance novel
