Soul Land is truly a good novel/manga/anime, but with the various pairings there are so many broken hearts too. I can agree that the way they express their love is sometimes too cliche or rather overdosing it.
But nonetheless I liked Tang San's, Tang Wulin's and Tang Xuanyu's story, not very much Dai Yuhao's as there were too many girls whose heart he had to break and I also kind of didn't like Tang Wutong as much as I would have liked to.

 

Yes, and dont forget how the author repeatly describe how handsome the ML was.

Altough he is not ml I fucking hate Claude from WMMAP. He just fucking abondened his daughter when she was born like wtf? You made that girl with your wife jerk. It's not her fault be born. Also I fucking hate Diane too. It's not just your choice. Calude didn't wanted the child you could abort and try to find a way to get pregnant without risk u know? Everybody in that novel was selfish.

If Athanasia didn't act cute her father would be still a jerk. I can't understand how can people love claude. Your father must love you not just because you act cute. Acting cute shouldn't be necessary to recive parental love.

Ijekiel became a hidden yandere. Jennet became a jealous brat. Athy dumb af and felix is a hypocrite.

Lucas may be the only one who was true to his desire.

But amongst the top tier hatred would be this noname novel called . Huh. I forgot the name. But it was bad and I left such an evil review that I got banned from royal road the first time around. In anycasw
Beginning after the end also makes me angry
1. The hype
2. The caricature Mari sue main lead
3. Mary Sue love interest
4. Rehashed troupes
5. Meandering plot
6. Aneurysm inducing fillers

But nothing is worse than abandoned empress. I am just shook that something written like a 4th grade fan fic even got that famous

 

Neither do I understand how the heck that jerk deserve to be a 'father'!!
It's almost like he's raising a 'pet that act cute' for entertainment instead of child

Novels were the ML has blonde/silver hair, tanned skin or were the MC is cheating/cheats on ML.

I wouldn't say that i hate this novel but Svsss has some annoying/obessive and toxic mc, i have seen so far that he self-victimizes himself on every turn and not to mention the "scene"

 

there's a lot of novels i greatly dislike (a lot of them involve shitty MLs) but the one that takes the cake for me is the Demonic King Chases His Wife. thousands and thousands and thousands of chapters of rapist ML, unkillable cockroach antagonists with plot armor thicker than the planet and an F!MC who is supposed to be OP but is weak as foch because ML (and yet most of the time ML is either away being self-centered or somehow involved in some way with another woman) and the antagonists are made super hyper OP.

 

I felt embarrassing for the MC after all that stuff he did about divorcing just to end up with the dumb ml.

 

I think these were the novels that led me to steer clear of emporer MLs in general. Unless it's a BL (and even then, it can be), an emperor ML is a RED flag.
