Spoiler: About the brown haired girl that looks like Miriam

From what I read and suspect, it's not Miriam but her older sister. Her name is Jean Willis? And she had a younger sister that her dad took and sold to the slave trader, so yes, the girl might be Miriam. But Jean never knew her younger sister thus hold not a single affection for Miriam since she never really got to know her as soon her younger sister was born since her dad ran and sold her sister.

No, he's not dead but in a comatose like state and the 2nd prince, Zed is going away to somewhere to get the cure.

Spoiler: Theo

Starting next week, Theo will begin acting resolutely towards Chloe. He really surprised me because he’s been acting a bit standoffish as though he drew a line between them. However, as soon as he becomes a full fledged knight, he becomes Chloe’s knight. Next week in the manhwa he will probably give her his gift that he couldn’t give her five years ago. He also makes his intention and feelings clear though Chloe isn’t sure how she feels. He also doesn’t back down in front of her brothers who try to threaten him in their turn (Jed and Ezra). Jed even tests Theo’s sword skills after he returns five years later and tries to tell Theo to back off from Chloe (in terms of romantic intentions) but Theo tells him what happens if Chloe wants him. Heh. He acts completely different now that he’s achieved his goal as the youngest knight after Jed. In addition, he told Ezra he wants to at least become Chloe’s lover. Ezra might not have thought he truly meant it but Theo means it.

Another time, Theo was out escorting Chloe and the two run into the Olaf guy. Theo was some ways behind because he was looking at a gift that Chloe just handed to him. That’s why they were in the shopping area. Chloe had a gift especially prepared for Theo’s birthday. Surprised, Theo was appreciating the gift when Chloe runs into Olaf guy. The guy addresses Chloe with interest and Theo comes up to them. Theo boldly stakes him claim and Olaf guy makes a comment like Theo’s remarks can hurt Chloe’s reputation and surprisingly, both Chloe and Theo stands up for their relationship. Chloe even holds Theo’s hand, which surprises Theo especially when she says he’s her person (I think she says more like he’s her man though I don’t think she meant it as a lover) In any case, Chloe gets red around Theo and he knows it. He also told her his feelings on another occasion and he tells her to take her time to answer him if she needs time. I think he also told her not to bother answering if she’ll turn him down.

 

Spoiler: Emperor wakes up

He wakes up after the arc where Chloe Theo, Ezra, Jonathan go to visit Zed in the south after five years. They capture the monster alive that had attacked her father and Ezra and Jonathan make an antidote from it.

Chester’s mother, Monica and her father. Her father is the one who murdered Erica, Chloe’s mother. Monica acts like she’s under her father’s rule but she secretly gained power and was the true master. She and her father are caught up in the fanatical dragon worshipping country. She studied abroad when she was younger and became a fanatic there. Lancel Olaf is also a fanatic. He thought he would awaken as a dragon and Chloe would be his bride. He’s been brainwashed like this for years. He claimed he hated the ancient dragon because his family died because of their fanaticism towards the dragon and in the end he also became fanatic.

Spoiler: Ancient Dragons

Chloe’s tutor is the ancient dragon who cursed her family line. He admitted this near the end of the story.

Theo is an ancient dragon but he’s probably younger. He met Chloe in South Korea and after she died from a car accident in front of him, his guardian told him that Chloe’s soul was pulled back to her original world because the spell that kept her in South Korea was released. Therefore, Theo followed her. It was like finding a grain of sand on a beach. There are countless worlds and Theo searched through them to find Chloe. This is why he lost his memory that he’s a dragon. Crossing worlds takes a sacrifice from him each time. He fell for Chloe in South Korea after she approached him saying he’s pretty (as a lizard) They saw each other several times but then Chloe died.

Chester's mother was always under suspicion, so that's not surprising. I've always thought Lancel Olaf was sus too.
I didn't think her tutor was THE Ancient Dragon, but it makes sense.

 

Her tutor has the same colors as the ancient dragon in the story and in MC’s visions. The dragon has golden eyes and his skin color is reddish-orangish. So it corresponds to the tutor’s hair and eye colors. Readers on Tapas pretty much pegged him as the dragon because of this. What really surprised me is that Theo is a dragon from another world. That was an unexpected twist for me. He has nothing to do with that world before settling there.

Spoiler: Princess Saban, curse and South Korea

The ancient dragon sent her to another world where there’s not a lot of war like their world. The dragon does this after she was fatally wounded from helping her brother in a war. If I’m not mistaken, it was probably a war involving beasts because she can understand and communicate with beasts and the people feared her. The brother tells her that in order to dispel people’s fears, she should fight to show that she’s on the side of humans and against beasts. After she was wounded, dragon was angry and decides to send her to a more peaceful world and he curses the brother that his emotions will always be visible to others (eye color changes) and his loved ones will injure/kill him. He also tells the brother that he will make him the emperor because that’s what Saban/Pitima wanted. Dying Saban didn’t want her brother to be cursed and punished by the dragon but she was fading too fast to voice her objection.

Previously the brother had been kicked out of succeeding the throne by his uncle. The uncle held it against him that his sister can talk to beasts. It’s probably an excuse for the uncle’s greed but I suppose there’s truth in the fact that people will indeed fear someone who can control a dragon.

Theo only remembers his time in South Korea like a vague dream. He tries to tell Chloe a bit about dreaming that he searched for her for a long time but he only has a vague dreamlike feeling that he did. Chloe doesn’t take it seriously though. It’s just a few sentences because I think the author means it to be left as a mystery for them.

 

I can't believe Olaf is a traitor and about Chloe's tutor? Is he a good person even though he's the dragon, did he become nice? He was sus from the start

 

Spoiler: Explosion incident

Chloe was out shopping for a gift for her father. She was in a men’s clothing store. She had a lot of bodyguards there but Theo was the one accompanying her. While she’s talking to Theo about the clothes, a voice interjects telling her she can have the clothes tailored. It’s the Olaf guy. The two talk a bit with Chloe clearly not wanting Theo to feel uncomfortable because she senses Theo doesn’t like the guy. Next moment, Chloe espies a gift box on a table similar to the one the owner of the store tried to bribe her with to gain relief funds for his territory. She’s annoyed and between her and Theo, they decide to decisively give it back to the store employees.

A split second before Theo picks up the gift box, Chloe thinks something is wrong but it was too late. The box explodes with tremendous force and Theo uses his body to curb the magnitude of the explosion. He soon falls bleeding profusely from his stomach and all the other guards come running. Chloe refuses to let go of Theo and fortunately a doctor was nearby who can stop the flow of his blood. Chloe is all distraught and she has his blood all over her hands.

Next few days, Theo won’t wake up. On one of those visits, Chloe keeps begging him to wake up especially since his injuries are not life threatening. She thinks it must have been Monica who set the gift box explosion using the help of the tower owner in Yokarat. However, I believe it’s Olaf who did it because he was visibly present on the scene. The gift box was noticed only after he arrived. At this point, Chloe doesn’t know that Olaf is a fanatic so she thinks it’s Monica’s doing. She leaves Theo but not before kissing him on his forehead. When she turns her back to leave, a light glows on his forehead.

The next time he wakes up, he knows he’s a dragon. He first appears after Monica kidnaps Chloe through magical help from the tower master in Yokarat. He approaches Jed who’s leaving to deal with Yokarat. Jed realizes there’s something different about Theo but he doesn’t know what. The others like Colin realizes it too.

Meanwhile, Chloe wakes up to find crazy Monica has kidnapped her. Then in walks Olaf. He has all these scars on his chest and the two are forcing Chloe to stab him so that he can awaken as a dragon. They spout all kinds of cultist reasons but Jed and company soon arrives. They have to fight ancient monsters but Theo walks off. He knows where Chloe is. Jed and the others are confused by his behavior but Theo goes on his business.

Theo finds Chloe and Olaf has a dagger in his hand and it’s kind of like holding Chloe hostage against Theo. One thing leads to another and Theo assumes his huge dragon form. He crushes Monica and at one point Olaf stabs Theo’s foot with a dagger. This sends him on a wild rampage to destroy everything. Even Jed couldn’t do anything in the face of a dragon. Ezra arrives and attempts to do something but both brothers end up spitting up blood. Chloe calls out to Theo after suppressing her fears. She reminds herself that this is Theo. Theo does snap out of it and his body transforms back to his human form. He’s unconscious again after all that. Colin looks after him while Chloe makes sure her brothers are not fatally injured.

In the aftermath, Yokarat, of course, has to suffer the consequences of kidnapping another country’s princess. They also have the nerve to ask Chloe’s country if they can have Theo since he’s an ancient dragon. Of course no one can dare force him because he’s a freaking dragon. Chloe doesn’t know this while she’s accompanying Theo at his bedside in a luxurious room in the palace. She only finds this out later when Jed interrupts her near kiss with Theo who just woke up. Jed tells Theo about Yokarat’s request and he nonchalantly says he would go as long as he can take the princess. lol That’s because Jed, Ezra and him have this conflict over him wanting to be Chloe’s lover. He won’t back down and they keep trying but he has always maintained that he’s not budging. It’s worse now that they know he’s a dragon.

Theo however does go to Yokarat to track down Olaf and kill him. Although the guy is dying, he’s still obsessed with Chloe so Theo decides to kill him to entirely remove the threat to Chloe.

Spoiler: Ancient Dragon tutor

Well, I’m not sure what you mean about if he’s nice. I don’t really look at him in those terms. His mentality suits what I often see for dragons who are supposed to be ancient and wise after living many centuries. Despite the fact that he cursed the royal line, he also did help the first emperor to become the emperor. I see it more like he dealt out reward and punishment for the emperor’s actions. In the end, when Chloe confronted him about his true identity, he received an answer to the question that he was wondering about all along. “Was he selfish/greedy for doing what he did?” He felt that he didn’t consider Princess Saban’s point of view. He got the answer that Pittman didn’t hold it against him. He knows that Chloe is Pitima’s reincarnation but he considers them two separate people. Pitima is the one he loves.

Well, he is mostly always with her outside the palace so they do have more moments together. Their first kiss is at the end of the story though. They visit the place they used to be held as slaves. Then after they leave, they share their first kiss. They had found out that some of the kids held as slaves with them were taken to be experimented on by the zealots. Monica and Olaf guy were fully aware of the experiments done on kids and others.
