I also reccomend A03 (it is where I spend the majority of my life) . I LOVE araceil, have binge read everything. If you want more modern stuff, I recommend checking out the teen wolf fandom (I'm obsessed with Stiles and I never even watched the show). If you keep finding that chapters are missing/not updating, it may be because translators took them down because of the upcoming changes to jjwc's translation system. I recommend signing up for Chrysanthemum Garden's discord and getting the password. They have A LOT of new stuff (including modern), and also have links to the discords of translators who are no longer posting to Novel Updates. You can also try MTLing like I do- I'm very impatient .
