Me: "I know that many parent(s) will often tell their kids "Don't talk back!" when disciplining them. Well, depending on the situation, it might be necessary for the kids to talk back. Me: "In terms of canon Latino/Hispanic/Latina characters in an anime/manga that were established that way from the start, I think that is a fairly low count. However, the most-famous might be Chad from "Bleach". He is Okinawan-Mexican and a major character. There might be some negative representation points of him as such a character that I am not thinking about but I would say the positives far outweigh the negatives.

In terms of those that want an example of a canon Latino/Latina/Hispanic character in anime/manga that is a major character, Chad fits that desire as well. He straddles between being a main character to major supporting character that is just shy of being a main character."
