Has it being light novels booming years? I'm still surprised, most of the stories that I found on korean websites like Kakao, Ridi,Naver... or see them here are from 2019-2020-2021, I'm still surprise at the speed which they are made, they usually take less than 6 months to be done. Is the light novel consumerism that big in Korea? I see some unpopular novels, and think, mmmm, maybe they are from long time ago, but to my surprise, they are quite close to 2022
Part of it might be that translators looking for new projects look for whatever is popular right now. ... And what's popular tends to be what's new. Not to say people don't love older works. Just that the stuff everyone is talking about, the stuff everyone is reading right now, the stuff topping charts, is the stuff that's being released now.
