I want mc's that you don't usually see. Like "FFF-Class Trash Hero", and "If You Touch My Little Brother You're All Dead." Basically, novels with a-hole MCs, and or 4th wall-breaking comedic ones. If there are any other types of rarely seen mc's types that you know, I would be interested to learn them as well (as a second priority though).
Maybe something like the manhua "Am I invincible". MC thinks he is weak, but is actually op and as a result of this there are a lot of funny misunderstandings. Best wuxia villain MC's in my book. regressor-instruction-manual MC : total a-hole, shameless, and very manipulative. If there is an oscar for acting in novels, this one takes the top. My favorites a-hole MC's. genocide-online-playtime-diary-of-an-evil-young-girl MC : Definition of psycho, but innocent about life. Very unique MC and her perspective. the-regressed-demon-lord-is-kind MC : a "former" demon lord regressed, trying to live a "kind" life. Well his "kind" way is different tho... tried to post the novelupdates links, but i can't yet sorry.
Those MC's are quite outside the norm but cool at the same time: * This damned thirst for survival (calm, intelligent, clever, scheming, honestly a bit evil, twisted but with some principles left, fearless) * A Crowd of Evil Spirits Line Up to Confess to Me (MC is super strong, he can easily deal with evil spirits. The twist here is that he is completely oblivious to danger because he grew up surrounded by ghosts and is not afraid of them. Tbh they also don’t pose real danger to him. * The days I clear escape games pretending to be an NPC - MC really only cares about acting, he’s a method actor so the after effects and his state of mind are quite interesting. * Bonus - Supernatural Movie actor app (split personality, you’ll know everything you need to from the description) ! All of the mentioned novels are BL and horror, they don’t have really explicit scenes and If there are romantic stuff they are really far into the novel. Those probably aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, but If you don’t have anything against BL you'll enjoy them for sure !
