I was excited to MTL The New Recruit (BL) a novel adapted to manhwa (I finished the manhwa so now I wanted to read the novel) but right off the bat, I can’t make sense of the MTL for the first three sentences/dialogues: "짜증나. 그엄브렐라같은년. 갑질제대로해, 진짜." "엄브렐라같은년은또뭔데..." "그냥엄브렐라같은년이란뉘앙스에서나의분노가느껴지지않아? 뜻같은거알게뭐야. 지금내가쓰는카피도뭔개소린지모르겠는데." This part I can understand but added for additional context. 좀더하쉬하면서도댄디하게, 그러면서도고객의마음을단박에사로잡을수있는심플하고트렌디한광고문구가대체뭔데? 뭐냐고! 지연은머리를쥐어뜯으며괴로워했고, 승현은그런지연의모습을한두번보는게아니어서그러려니했다. 아니, 어쩌면내일부터승현도저런고민을하게될지도모를일이다. 그렇게생각하니조금가슴이뛰는것도같았다. Um... So it's not exactly said what it means. Plus the words were clumped up together so it was a bit hard to read. the dialogues: “So annoying. That umbrella-like b*tch. She keeps on abusing her power/bossing us around.” “What does an umbrella-like b*tch mean now...?” “Can't you feel my anger from my 'umbrella-like b*tch' nuance?(Is that all you got from my words?)What's the point of knowing what it means, anyway? I don't even know what sort of copy I'm using right now.”
Thank you so much, I was using OCR so that might've messed up the spacing! I wonder if umbrella like bïtch has a specific meaning.... Also I can't seem to get what she meant by saying "...I don't even know what sort of copy I'm using right now."
Maybe it's: I don't even know what I'm copying down right now. Are they in a meeting right now? Taking notes down?
The setting was a café and the two characters in the dialogue are friends ^^ That's why I was confused as well!
