I am actually halfway through the book( c 48) as it is only 105 chapters but the main things I liked are: -tone is slightly nostalgic and melancholic but hopeful and healing -the MC does not treat the characters as only paper people -supporting characters are charming and even the system gets character development -antagonists are not evil for the sake of slapping face -there is another transmigator but author wrote a chapter note that she will not be used as a green tea foil to mc as everyone is the protagonist of their own life -slowburn and pretty logical development of plots -not a reverse harem novel where everyone falls in love with her, good familial and platonic relationships as well -girls supporting girls -has a gold medal on jjwxc Spoiler: Longer reason on why I think it should be picked up (with spoilers) Spoiler: 2nd life(1st transmigration) The setting follows the trope where the mc dies in a car accident and transmigrates. When she wakes up the first thing she asks is what happened to her family. The system says that while they are alive, her mother is expected to remain vegetative and her father and sibling have serious burns. However, promises her that if she completes its task that it will heal their bodies. Her job is to play the treacherous prime minister/one of the final bosses. She basically is the role of the caring big brother figure of the protagonist group who betrays them towards the end. She has the additional crossdressing setting as women are not allowed government positions. Protagonist acts her age. When she first transmigrates she is in her 20s and is super motivated and hopeful. She has the goal that her family will be happy even if she is gone. By the time she finishes the task almost 20-30 years later she has started to mentally fall apart and just wants to rest(die). MC has done many morally questionable things and hurt friends and family she loved along the way of playing her villain role. At this point, finishing the tasks to save her 1st world family has become an obsession because there is no other way for her to push through. At the end of her life she dies alone and is executed by the orig ML and FL who she betrayed and were once also her friends. Spoiler: What happened to her 1st life family After, the system shows her 1st world family who has been healed according to the agreement and are slowly piecing their life together. Her parent's business is prospering and her sister is chasing her dreams. Nevertheless, whenever they have a gathering, the mood is quiet because they miss her. She knows she does not have much time left so her final wish to the system is for them to forget her and move on. She closes her eyes. Spoiler: 3rd life (2nd transmigration) To her shock she wakes up in another body of a child. The system has already gone back but has left her the final message that it hopes she can live for herself in this life. MC is not at all happy. She's mentally 40-50 by now and was already prepared to die so she does not really know what to do anymore. The novel describes it as that while she would not actively commit suicide she would not fight to live either if something were to happen to her. In this life her parents are dead and her uncle's family adopts her. They really love her and she spoils her younger cousin/adopted sister (subconsciously remembering all the children she adopted in her last life) Then another system binds to her upon detecting she is a transmigrator. It is a love system. While the targets are major characters who she met in her last life as a villain, as the system is an older model, it does not distinguish between romantic and platonic love. The catch is that it runs on the cumulative favorability points obtained from targets and once consumed will self destruct with MC. MC does not care and counts down her days despite the system's nagging. During this period, her uncle is promoted and moves the family to the capital. He decides to send them to the first and only women's academy founded by MC's past life. MC gets annoyed when she hears gossip that the government is trying to convert it to a Men's Academy as educating women is scandalous. The compromise made to keep temporary peace was to become a co-ed school. Everyone knows that this is a tactic to slowly push female students out until only male students remain. While not obvious in the first few chapters they knew that they loved each other and the other's feelings for them. However, they never got together because they realised that the things they wanted to do respectively would take them different places in life. When they met again in 2nd life they did not immediately get together because they had already said goodbye to each other and could not pretend that everything never happened. Frankly I don't know if TL will take a chance on a jjwxc novel since they will be launching an international site & so lots of TL put their sites on lockdown so people don't steal and profit off their TL. So you can just hope someone picks up this novel officially in future but I doubt the quality or if it's just gonna be stolen honestly For more info you can check out this thread
