i need some recommendations of good but no romance anime, examples : haikyuu, death note, one piece, hunter x hunter, black butler, one outs

prefer : smart male MC, evil MC, mystery/dark

(Godzilla kinda has romance but not really.)

This is actually a bit hard. The hardest part being a decent (watchable) story without a major romantic plotline.

Rainbow: it has a bit of romance (well, a dude is in love with a girl)
Ousama Ranking: might look like a children shows, but it's really good
Ergo Proxy
Ping Pong the Animation: it's actually really good
Barakamon: wholesome comedy
Terror in Resonance: it's pretty cool and it's just 11 episodes long
Assassination Classroom
Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan: has romance for the comedy
Made in Abyss: dark adventure
Yuru Camp: super comfy relaxing anime
Hinamatsuri: more comedy
Asobi Asobase: somewhat weird, but imo hilarious comedy
Somali to Mori no Kamisama: wholesome adventure
Banana Fish: has romantic vibes, which are pretty important for the story
Hajime no Ippo
Claymore: it's pretty cool
Kingdom: historical and the MC is kind of a shounen idiot (in the sense that he mostly only pushes forward without thinking much.)
Jormungand: Koko is loco, but pretty fucking cool. Female arms dealer hires a child soldier as a new member of her guards (many ex soldiers, ex mercenaries...)
