Answer: A villain who has just as much, if not more, plot armor as the protagonist,

I'm currently reading the webtoon "Legend of Asura - The Venom Dragon", and there's this psychopathic pedo who just wouldn't die. Seriously, this mofo isn't even that strong and not that smart as the author is trying to portray (the author pretty much dumbs down the intellect of the other characters) yet he survives every fucking scenario any Murim genre villain of his qualities would have certainly died from.

There's one thing the author did right about him though. I hate him. XD

I usually don't finish reading through stories like this. Just now, I've read chapter 83 of the webtoon... I'm dropping it. So much BS, lmao. XD

What’s worse is a protagonist who gets hated for a false accusation just because he uses a shield, has to work from the bottom to be a hero while other ‘heroes’ get it easy, finally getting friends who fight for him, and when things starting to get better, he gets one-shotted by the villain
And then author originally ending the story with him waking up in the library thinking everything is a dream

What's worse is when a MC doesn't have a plot armor and he loses more than he wins so much that you just tune in for the end result, you can never re-watch the journey again as it was full of agony and losses.
Ex: Hikaru no go (only won when he was sei)
Ahiru no sora (stopped counting their losses)
Chihayafuru (one win and 2-3 losses)
And many more... sure realism is nice but too much is depressing!

I'm quite sure that's not how it ends. Lol.

I didn't really get that frustrated with Chihayafuru.
Ace of the Diamond (excluding Act 2) - OMG, the frustration is a killer.

So it is basically the cockroach who doesn't die even after how much the protagonist try to, until the very end.

If there’s too much plot armor, the character’s would feel bland they’ll look like they have no intelligence and only flow with the plot.
