He's a descendant of the dragon, so his power comes from that. But due to broken rules, the dragon has manifested into a mortal body. Since FL has awakened as saintess she is no longer going to die, they live happily with no threat on their lives.

Just to clarify (because some MTL is .. well MTL haha) She awakens (I didnt see how though I assume one of the usual ways ?) a a Saint (?) in terms of power which would off set his dragon / Blood line power that eats at vitality (I assumed it nullified it so basically they are both fine and that threat is removed entirely) and they eventually rise to rule the empire with good relations to his mothers original kingdom etc (I will simply assume they also had kids even if it wasn't written and were dotting parents because... I can't see them being anything other than that xD) ? I was also curious what position her brother took on after ?
(rant) Man, the only thing that's keeping me from liking this is the brother. Bro literally left her for five years, also KNEW she was depressed, but ofc fl got sent back and "changed" so now he cares. Yet again the fl is love just because she change.. I wonder when will there be a manhwa where the fl is genuinely loved. Almost every manhwa is telling me if u act cute, you won't get killed(Just like WMMP), if you don't act desperate or clingy to your father, you will also get his attention and love(also just like I am actually the true daughter). If you are suddenly not depressed,always trying to kill yourself but instead become a chef and act all lively(just like that one shit ass manhwa, I forgot the title), you won't get ignored and neglected to just die. What's up with this characters neglecting on abused,hurt, depressed fl's?? And then suddenly loving them just cause they change. Laughable. Edit: though I give him a bit credit.. the brother here actually knows he's shit. Still, he's no different from the characters I've mentioned.
