Looking for BL novels where the shou/uke is a kind/caring/gentle, but isn't stupid. I'm a bit fatigued from Shen Yuan-esque Straight Uke's and overly sadistic and self-righteous characters like the QWTFOTD MC. I'd like to read novels where the uke is more genuinely sympathetic and/or soft (none of that two-faced white lotus and green tea bitch stuff, or transmigrators putting on a sweet persona while spitting bullcrap on the inside), but isn't stupid or cries a lot for no reason. This also works for shou's who are cold on the outside but are squishy soft on the inside. Uke's similar to the ML in Home of the Zerg, MC in Interstellar Rare Species, and Chu Wanning from Erha are what I'm looking for! Gong/Seme MC is fine, any genre/setting is also good aside from tragedy, HE is a requirement. Any translation status is also fine, but if it's untranslated pls gimme a shubao link or the chinese name in characters

soft and sweet mushroom protagonist of" little mushroom" seems to fit? he seems a Lil dumb but he's not. he's also a cutie. another I would suggest is Kaleidescope of death's protagonist lin qiushi. he's not a all round good guy. but if it doesn't hurt him. he would be willing to help people he doesn't know
