Request How do I get over second-hand embarrassment!?

There is this manhwa i am reading called Pian Pian...and it's giving me so much second-hand embarrassment i managed to get past 23 chapters enduring the embarrassment but there is major second-hand embarrassment in chapter-24 and now i can't read it anymore but i still wanna read (╥﹏╥) i scrolled down to another panel and the second hand embarrassment just got even worse ༼;´༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽

Please tell me how do you guys get over your second-hand embarrassment and continue to read or watch the novel/manga/anime

But there are just too many misunderstanding in this damn manhwa....the MC think the ML doesn't like him and the ML think the MC doesn't like him...they both like each other and everybody knows it expect the MC and the ML

is the embarrassment because the characters are too cringe or something?

No it's not becuz the characters are cringe... it's just the scene is too embarassing (-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩___-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩)

 

I get it, I had a lot of secondhand embarrassment reading “I Can Do It” during the beginning parts. I recommend first going to the comments, slowly gradually going back up and reading it backwards, then once you know what to expect you’ll cool down a bit and, although it’s still a bit embarrassing, since you know what to expect you won’t be as effected. Though, it kinda does ruin the experience just a tad bit.

Yes. You don't get over it. You just bravely go through it. Repeatedly temper your thin skin through experience. Until your bottom line lowers, your tolerance jar cracks. Until whatever embarrassing scene you're subjected to reading is not so anymore. You'll get used to it. Go on, soldier. Makes us proud and join our ranks. We thick skins have went through all that.

 

Pretend you can’t read and skip over it or throw my phone (on the bed of course, don’t want to break it) and rethink my life choices. Then just go back reading it when you’re ready.

Bonus: if you have thick skin, then you’re good.

To clarify, the description, if not its reality, was quite reminiscent of chuunibyou.

 

Maybe some aspects, chuunibou having dark history trend, but here it's dark history, present, future.


To clarify, I meant to say stop seeing world in rainbows and open your eyes to the gray and dull skies, and in time your eyes will adjust.
