stopP, i literally didn't knew it was father's day today, not until it was in late in the afternoon XD cuz my niece shouted "HAPPY FATHER'S DAYYYYYY PAPA" in the microphone (they were singing) orz.
My family celebrated my dad birthday as well.. since his bday is on the end of May. Give him some new running shoes, running shirt and a jogging pant. He was really happy so yeah
It was a week ago in my country and I also forgot about it... Or rather, I ultimately forgot to give the gift cuz schedule got messy. I gave it to him the day after and he didn't mind at all but damn was that awkward. Especially since my mom warned me the day before not to forget to wish him a happy father's day lol
Buy a cup that says: “Hi dad, thanks for always coming back when you went to get milk”. Sadly it’s quite the price for one on Amazon so maybe buy a normal mug and customize it?
Same (except it's because his birthday fell on the same day ). I see a lot of people talking about their experiences with celebrating with their father so i thought I would talk about mine. My dad as a child didn't celebrate things like birthdays etc in his family. He only started to do that because of how important he saw my mother value it ,so when it is father's day etc he more values the smaller things. For example , both my parents always like to talk about when i was a baby how I said dada( my first word) which they say was another time his birthday and father's day aligned.(Obviously i wouldn't remember that but i realized how much he was happy to talk about that , than hearing about gifts )
Had to explain this joke to @ChiliJam today lol and isn’t the mug kinda inaccurate to give to your dad considering what happened in past
It’s the thought that counts. You can even fill it up with nails or anything for them to drink or step on.
I hate my dads. father figures aren't really the most important nor the best examples for me as role models. to all the lucky people out there with dads who : are trying their best, have bad dad jokes, cherishes their child/children, and many more.. cherish the time you have with them and wish them a special day !
