Spoiler: Backstory

Fl's parents passed away early in her life and she was raised by her aunt and uncle who stole her inheritance. She had to work as a minor in order to save for school. Later she is ready to drag aunt and uncle to court but falls sick and is diagnosed with cancer. She wakes up to find herself in the midst of the wedding ceremony

Spoiler: The novel

It's called two flavors. The Ml is Seniel who is a high priest(day), in the night he turns into Kid, a serial killer. Senial's father was the Marquis Keith, he was also the high priest. He started to conduct experiments on orphans in order to become God. Later he also started to experiment on Senial and Kid was born. He killed everyone involved in the experiment. Since the crime scene looked like a child had messed around with a bottle of ketchup, he ended up being called 'Kid'. Senial tried hard to stop Kid. They don't share memories unless something very emotional happens(like the first murders). Senial tries to not sleep, but that just makes Kid more brutal. He starts to drug himself in order to reverse the experiment.
Vivi is just an extra in the book who survives just a week or so, she dies immediately after meeting Kid. Senial blames himself for it and wants to kills himself. It's then that he meets the Fl, Ezette. She is using the magic powers of her family necklace to disguise as a man in order to catch the guy who killed her brother.

Spoiler: Wedding

An oracle called for the marriage of Vivi and Senial.So if she runs people will immediately stop her.She actually turns toward the exit when everyone is praying, but ends up spraining her foot. Senial looks like he is suffering too(he knows about Kid) but she has zero sympathy for him. She is crying while she gives her consent to the marriage

Spoiler: Mansion

Ml tells Vivi that he has to leave for another temple urgently. She is all happy, asking him to go sooner. He asks her to not leave her room after 9 in the night.The servants also leave at 8 . She is not allowed to bring her own maid.

The butler shows her her room in the third floor. She wants to have a room in the lower floors(so that she can jump out of the window), but the first and second floors are off limits. She is introduced to her new maid Jane.She asks Jane for running shoes. She thinks that since the servants don't know off Kid, they won't think there would be a reason for her to run. They would just assume she is going out for a while (Which doesn't make sense, won't the servants thinks that all the restrictions are weird?)

Spoiler: Escape plan

Fl thinks about revealing the truth to the temple, but knows that they won't believe her and Kid would retaliate.
She thinks about asking Senial for help, but if Kid gets his memories, he would try to kill her
She knows that the temple will come after her if she runs(oracle ), the borders are also stricter because of the Empire's recent conflicts with its neighbors

She asks Jane for a carriage. Jane assumes that Vivi wants to catch up to Senial since he left on her wedding night but hesitates since senial has told them to not allow Vivi to leave( Kid might be on the road somewhere). She later agrees but Vivi decides to abort the plan since she still has time left.

Spoiler: Kid

Kid wakes up in a an inn. He had already planned to kill Vivi that night and is annoyed that Senial tried to bring him to the inn. He tears up the holy scriptures in the room and leaves for the mansion

At night vivi wakes up to some weird noises. She is crying and pretending to sleep. Kid comes into the room and starts to light the lamps. He wants to see the reactions of his victims. They become relieved when they see the high priest only for that relief to be replaced with confusion. He breaks a glass near her bed. He starts to poke her cheek, telling her that he knows she is awake.
She wakes up but doesn't scream and he is uncomfortable to face someone who seems to know him. He knows that Senial would not have revealed his identity, if he had he would have taken her to a safe place.

He asks why she hasn't asked for his name yet(he doesn't like being confused with Senial). So Vivi denies knowing who he is. He says he will kill her without pain as a gift, since she didn't scream. He suddenly asks her to recite a Bible verse. He tells her that he will not kill her if she is able to seduce Senial. He hands her his knife and says that he will visit again to check on her progress.. he knows that Senial lacks affection and isn't as nice as he acts.

Spoiler: Og novel

So our Vivi thinks that the story is still on track. She thinks that og Vivi failed to seduce Senial and died after a week.
But in the novel OgVivi had convinced Senial to stay with her on the wedding night. After she had fallen asleep he had left for the inn but couldn't go far before falling asleep. Kid had arrived earlier and killed ogVivi who was wandering in the hallways (because she was afraid of being alone).

Spoiler: Next morning

Senial finds himself in his bed in the mansion. There is note from Kid on his table calling ViVi a good guard(idk what that means). Afraid he hurries to her room. He knocks but she is afraid to open. He finally enters the room and Vivi realizes that he is not Kid when she sees him crying.

Vivi is angry and grabs his collar which makes the knife fall from her hand. Seeing the knife and the broken glass he starts to apologise, he says that he should have told her about his 'habit' earlier. He kneels on the broken glass and tells her that he was deceiving everyone and is the killer. She makes him heal his bleeding legs and tells that even if he wants to pay for what happened, the temple won't believe him. If he tries to kill himself, his emotions will wake up Kid at the last moment. She tells him that she doesn't care for his apology and wants to live. She asks for his help. She wants him to stay still and not do anything. This makes him distrust her a little but she hopes that he remembers that Kid is not the type of person to have an accomplice. She also asks him to have dinner with her that night.

Vivi will meet og Fl in the next chapter

I don't know how I feel about the Ml. I do sympathize with him, he didn't chose to be abused, he didn't choose to have a split personality. But Kid is a serial killer. He knows that Kid is unhinged. Vivi might be a woman, but he is a man in a position of power. The temple would search for him too but it would be much easier for him to escape. Maybe he should have stayed in some far off mountains away from human populations. He knew that Vivi would be in danger the moment he marries her. On one hand it seems like he was trying to protect the servants ,but from ogVivi's pov he had completely isolated her in an huge mansion. No wonder she was afraid and wandered off. He says he left the mansion in order to protect her, but he just went to a nearby inn.Kid was able to reach the mansion by midnight.

Anyways, the tags are romantic thriller. Looks really thrilling!!

 

This looks nice. Is this another take on Jekyll and Hyde? or maybe this is something different, then? Like something similar to Ji Sung's role (he deals with many personalities) in Kill Me, Heal Me? Since this one deals with 2 different personalities of the ML, I wonder what will happen on this novel. Any spoilers?

Spoiler: 7-10

-Sen starts to cry (again) when he hears the dinner request.Vivi tells him to call her by her name. Sen is unsure about how all this is going to help but still agrees to go along with her plans, He then leaves for the temple. Vivi also grabs some jewellery and heads out.

-Vivi finds out that it would take hours to reach port by carriage. this world had certain video devices to get news from far off places. There was a danger of Kid finding out where she was before she reached the port. She had to divert his attention. She thinks of giving info to Kid about his enemy Joel who was also involved in the experiments. But Joel is never caught in the books so has no clue about his whereabouts. She then decides to give evidences of Kid's identity to the Fl, to escape in the chaos that the fl would then create.

-Someone pickpockets Vivi's jewels. a white haired paladin comes to her rescue, he recognises her from the wedding and introduces himself as Ronan, but fl knows that he is the ogfl Ezete. Ogfl offers to be her escort when she sees her leaving alone. Vivi thinks that since ogfl didnt care about gods and oracles(she was someone who would wear a cursed necklace) she will readily help her escape in exchange of mmoney.

-They go to a tea shop, where Vivi uses her novel info and asks for lemon tea from Bay. The shopkeeper then takes Vivi and Ogfl to a room in the basement. Bay is this blond woman who agrees to smuggle out Vivi to Kay Neutral for 60 gold coins. The ship leaves in a week and the voyage will be for 2 months. She will also send someone to meet her in the port. Vivi also pays for a fake id

-Ogfl questions her actions but Vivi repeats the line ogfl used to say in the novel.It was something like you have to do anything to survive, don't remember....Ogfl agrees to help her. Then they go to a weapon shop and Ogfl helps her pick out stuff for self defense(armours,shock devices) but doesn't accept the gifts Vv offers. Vv remembers that ogfl used to look at the cover of a poetry book that reminded her of her brother. She buys it for Ogfl who is rendered speechless at the sight of it.

-Ogfl's father was a gambler and her mother was a terrible person.2 of her younger brothers are dead. Thats why she doesn't pray during the wedding and notices the fl trying to escape whil everyone had their eyes shut. She was actually cheering her on.
-Back home Vv decides to wear her armour and self defense rings all the time, since Kid can take over whenever he wants (as he is far stronger than the timid Senial).Senial is still unsure about Vv but knows that there isn't anything that he can do. He doesn't want muders around him anymore. He can sometimes feel the pleasure Kid feels on murdering someone and hates himself more. They have dinner. He looks sad but Vv doesnt bother to comfort him. She doesnt want to get close to him. She tells him that she can't tell him her plan but asks him to trust her. She then hands him a tulip flower to keep in his room
-At night a 'cloth' brushing against her cheek wakes Vv up. She finds Kid holding the tulip. He tells her that Senial is not the type to keep flowers next to him.She starts to talk about the progress she has made like the dinner plan and all. He remarks that she is much more resourceful than expected as he had thought she would just shiver and cry.He says that he will let her go if she is able to make Senial fall in love with her

I think the both of them will blend together , while harmful traits goes away. I mean that’s what happened in many DID kdramas (hyde Jekyll and me ,Kill me heal me)
