Take a deep breath and hold it, make sure to pinch your nose. Hold it until you literally can't hold it in any longer.
You have to increase the carbon dioxide concentration in your blood. Either you inhale and exhale in a bag all the time or you hold your breath. It's important to hold your breath after you exhale. It's much more efficient.
This might sound simple but just take slow, deep, and long breaths (only from your nose and keep your mouth closed) until it stops. Hiccups are your diaphragm spasming out of your normal inhale-exhale cycle, so breathing like that helps your diaphragm to get back into sync. It usually takes me about 5 minutes to get my hiccups to stop by using this method, but it has worked for me everytime.
drink hot water not scalding hot, just hot enough to drink and when you have enough try to throw it up on the toilet
Hiccups are your diaphragm spasming. Do some light exercise. Regulate your breathing. Like, Yoga or stretching might help. Relax.
