My red flag are for the people who disturb me when i am seeing or reading any novel and anime. It brings me back to reality
people who skirt around a task, event or the main point, they will weave a long story for it or an excuse and also overly arrogant people, those who think of themselves as the most miserable they think only they are important and somehow everyone around them must bow down to them and put them on a high platform they act like i owe them or something i asked a classmate if she read webnovels cause she read novels she was like 'what??' and i had to repeat it to her multiple times but she was like 'oh i dont know what that is what does it mean?' .WEB NOVELS!!!! is she stupid? and after i explained it to her she was like 'oh i only read physical books you know, i dont understand anything when reading on the screen' generally i find a lot of things and behaviors as red flag and also if someone doesn't understand any references, jokes, situations or topic but still tries to involve themselves into it and gets offended for no reason at all
red flags.... they don't matter if they're hot and willing to be direct and ask me out! usually red flags I'll avoid even if the above is true is if they are very careless and don't reply to messages for weeks on end.
In novels? Straight Uke’s/MC’s who can’t adapt to the status quo (whiny, unable to adapt their world view as the current situation requires, overly oblivious/insists that the love interest is someone they obviously aren’t), they’re always so annoying and make me want to slap then to their senses. in real life, aside from the obvious red flags like being racist, homophobic, etc; hypocrites, their thought processes and ways they justify their hypocritical behaviour and/or beliefs baffles me
Things that slip up in a conversation. Like having an intellectual superiority while actually spouting ignorant shit and not being an actual genius. Like they way they'll talk about women. Or smelling like they haven't bathed in a few months.
fat narcissitic thinks i like them more than i really do no hobbies or interests not interesting and 1inch deep puts everyone over me or doesnt treat me as an equal sexist act like a big intellectual cringe brings over inlaws condescending
My red flag is someone who backstabbing me, treat me with disrespect and shove their own opinions down my throat. I'm okay with different opinions but if they are too forceful and try to manipulate me on believing them, than they are a red flag. All of this could apply in novels or real life ig.
