Recently, I was novel where the MC used to be a police agent in his previous life but then reborn into the body of a imprisoned person who was really frail and weak. But right after he was reborn he was able to press down the ML for once. But then when he was getting done by ML without his permission he went completely weak magically without even being able to slap him away. That was fine too. But then later he got stronger by doing exercises and stuff and got defeated again by the ML with a simple strike. While he was still able to beat other people like a general or something. So why are the MLs of a normal historical danmei so oppressive. Moreover, if he is powerful why isn't he trying to push him away with a bit more force. Basically why do most strong MCs turn into a weak rabbit in front of the MLs?
If their setting is that the ML is a strong character that have lived for so long, or have a blessing, probably a demon lord, the emperor, was gifted, a hero, why would you expect the MC to be stronger than that in the first place. Try to understand the character settings so it's not bothering.
I'm confused because ML is Male MC, and here OP says both ML and MC at the same time. So there are 2 male MC on the same novel? If that's not BL, idk what is.
That's why I always say that an action novel should only contain action and no romance, it ruins the feel. Talking about BL, that's just how most of the authors tell us that ML is cool , some are perfectly fine thought, meaning the MC doesn't "go weak". I presume you just stumbled across an exagerated one
ML and FL are terms used for the love interest of the MC, regardless of the MCs' gender. If you see an FMC, that's a female MC.
